How do I install and play Xenoforce Reborn for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Mods?

Go to Start/Programs/Electronic Arts/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Control Center. Then click on "Check for Updates" Button. After its done, simply download from ModDB, then extract the .big and .sku files into the mods\xenoforce directory on your computer.

You need the C&C 3 TW version 1.09

Recommended to extract with:
WinRAR
^ note that this can be used for free, so you do not require to register this program.
7-ZIP

For Windows XP:
"My Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods\" directory

For Windows Vista:
"Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods\" directory

For Windows 7:
"My Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods\" directory - The same as Windows XP Above

For Macintosh (MAC):
To Be Updated, If you have a Macintosh, send the PM to Me so I can add the information for installing Xenoforce Reborn.

Note: If the "mod" folder in C&C Tiberium Wars Document is not appear, right click\new\folder

Is it possible play Xenoforce Reborn for C&C3 Tiberium Wars Kane Edition (Limited Edition)

Yes, go to Start/Programs/Electronic Arts/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Control Center. Then click on "Check for Updates" Button, then click Yes. Once its done, go to Start/Programs/Electronic Arts/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Control Center. Then click on "Game Browser", click "mods" tab, then click Xenoforce, then click "Launch Game" Button.

Other:

Delete the old mod version first before install.

For Steam and Desura:
If you purchase C&C3 TW from steam: I recommended download and install "Desura" first, then go to "Desura" from XR mod, then click on "Install" button. Once it is installed log in your account, then play the mod. Note: The version has not been updated for a while.
Install Manually:
Before this you need to download the version 9.0e from Moddb or Mediafire. Then extract the folder with WinRar, and drag the XR folder to you desktop! < Mandatory
After you install the XR mod from Desura. Now find the XR mod game, Right click on XR mod game, then click "properties". At Properties, look at the User Launch Option: to do this, copy the: -modConfig "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\My Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods\Xenoforce\xenoforce_0.9e.SkuDef" or C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Desktop\Xenoforce\xenoforce_0.9e.SkuDef" < then paste at the User Launch Option. Make sure that it path must be correct, otherwise it won't work! Once its done click play or on the icon.

Note: that YourUserName is based on your computer user name like Example: MyNameIsPerson, NewCommers
If you still get confused, click on the "Window Start" Button at the bottom left corner, look at the avatar next to your username not the username moddb or desura account!

You can put the path anywhere, but I recommend to put it your XR folder on the Desktop, because its easier to create a manual install path.

This is same thing for the computers paths as the above.

The User Launch controls the path, not the Fixed Launch.

Tips and Helps
Anti-Virus Programs:
You need to disable or exit the Security Program often to increase the game performance, or just leave it on any aware of viruses, or spy-ware just in case,but causes the game performance decreased. I recommend to disable the Security Program.

Try to lower the graphics by updating your video card (contact the manufacturers website), then in C&C 3 TW, go to "Options", then "Settings", next click on the Graphic settings to "Ultra Low"

This will be updated so I recommend to "Bookmark this Page" after the updates, this will often helps when this forum is added.

So im trying to install on Desura and it downloaded 1.1 with only GDI,NOD,Scrin. Any help with getting the new version?

Great, I already wrote it up in blue text for the manual Desura Installation. First, you need to download from the Moddb, then extract and drag this folder to your desktop right click on Xenoforce reborn Desura icon, then click on properties. At the properties look for the User Config, then copy this -modConfig "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Desktop\Xenoforce\xenoforce_0.9e.SkuDef". Then paste it at the User Config string text. Once its done, then click to play XR.

Compilable with other mods: I've don't test with other mods, but only with C&C3 "New Experience" .
