X32I Redemption is a space simulator heavily inspired by Freespace 2 creators Volition, inc. This will be taking the best of the Freepsace 2 and the best of the Cryengine 2 while adding our own stuff in to make it the ultimate space sim.
Saw it on youtube :D loved it. But i still dont see how this would turn into a game. You are quite mysterious with gameplay footage for sure ;)
Yes, we have gameplay footage... hell I've had gameplay footage for over 2 months. ;)
I just aint released any of it. :P
looks excellent! very well done! i think i would've liked a side by side comparison better though.
It has one at the end, well it's got a blend comparison. it blends between both and you see which assets fade in and out.
Side by Side meant losing a lot of screen space and because there is changes on the entire video it made better sense to blend the changes.
gives us an idea of what real space flight may look like someday... some day waaay far from today, unfortunately
This newer version certainly does look better on a scene I already loved.
Looks amazing. Considering it looked amazing before its become algabreicly amazing.
impressive
Some nice improvements. I think it's definitely more effective with the fighter's engines being dead. Only thing is that now there might be a few too many explosions.
... One word: brilliant!
By the way, in the future, will you need a translator (english into french)?
We may but that future will be quite a while off. :P
Keeps looking better and better...
Not that Im biased.
Well either way you've put in some incredible work mate. It only becomes even more so, the further you refine it. Respect.
Damn... This is realy epic. But just 2 questions:
1: Have you got any idea how long the singleplayer campaign takes?
2: Who made this fantastic music???
1. too early to tell but expect a fairly long campaign
2. Gareth Coker made the sweet music
thx
