Hello everyone, im going to keep this short and sweet.

So straight to the point, im releasing the first set of ships of which you'll find to download at the bottom of the page, now dont get too exited, the ships are about as bare bones simple as i could get them to avoid bugs, so this means no custom turrets, no custom cockpits (except the longsword, which is buggy but does not effect game play) and the biggy, no custom weapons. the weapons turned out to be very buggy and had major compatability issues with other mods, so have been left out of this release. what i have done though, is make sure that all turrets have all weapon compatability so they can fire which ever weapons you want them to.

Essentially what we're looking at here are just xsp ship files, so very much just a taster of what this mod could be like.

There are six ships to download, three from each faction:
UNSC Halcyon cruiser:
UNSC Paris heavy frigate:
UNSC Longsword:
Covenant Assault carrier:
Covenant CCS cruiser:
Covenant Seraph:

There are a few bugs with these ships that i am aware of but these ships are the ones that seem to work consistently enough for me to allow a release.
You will need Cycrows plugin manager to install these which you can find here:

Hopefully this will give you all a good taste of what i envisage for some point in the future, and to tease you a bit more check out this video:

being playing around with a few of the ships and ran into a couple of minor issues with them. first off is they could both do with larger cargo sizes. i fully equipped mine with Ion cannon, plasma beam, point singularity and starburst and had no cargo left in the Assault carrier and couldn't fit all the weapons on the ccs (i know all big weapons but they are the covenant :D) also there are too many weapons on the CCS. the turrets with 16 slots can only work properly with 12. the last 4 cant be put into groups and weapons can't be manually added or removed. sorry if you already know any of this. keep up the great mod

with the program to port the ships into the game there is another app where you can mod the stats try that that's how i got the covie ships to use all weapons

This. You can change the cargo bay to your desired size. For the actual mod, there won't necessarily be any need for such a large cargo bay as it may not be needed unless its a tp/ts/tl class ship

edit: is it possible to make the pirates use the covie ships cos i'd like to be able to have a halo battle

2nd edit: i watched the video again your latest one at the end was that the mantles approach or was i just seeing things

for now you may have to cheat the covenant ships in and set them to an enemy race.

Okay Im about to contradict my previous comment.

The UNSC Ships seem to not work in Albion Prelude, BUT only when the game has had other mods present. from what i can tell a blank install of AP and Gblro's mod will work "I Think".

first off the ships are all looking great. as for mod compatability i have all the ships working with manual installs of X-Tra Ship/Station Pack (no issues) and PSCO1-Shawn Cockpit MOD. minor problem with this one, with the longsword you can see framework through the cockpit. dont know if the cockpit can be moved forwards to avoid this? works fine with all other ships

im aware of the cockpit problem, this has nothing to do with the cockpit mod, its a problem with the ship itself, which will be fixed at some point
