This mod will completely change the space-skirmish mode. There will be no ships bigger
than a corvette, and all fighters and corvettes will be much bigger, the corvettes will get
destroyable HardPoints. This mod also seeks to make everything more canon and realistic,
for example do weapons now have a more realistic recharge time which is always the same
or similar. The squadrons are downsized to single fighters, which forces you to control them
more. Imagine how you just threw them in in the vanilla game, in this mod you have to be
more careful and use tactics. You can fight dogfights with one or two fighters or big assaults
with an entire squadron.
Try out: Will a Z95-Headhunter win against a TIE-Fighter? Will a X-Wing be able to deal with two TIE-Interceptors?

Some of the changes(additionally to the ones mentioned above):
-basic weapon recharge time 1.5 seconds, which prevents masacre and increases balance
-the most weapons shoot only once
-lots of abilities got replaced, ion cannon shot was replaced by temporary rocket attack
-replaced the space stations with orbital construction pods which have no weapons, because
the old space station was WAY to OP
-text changes to be more accurate and canon and provide some nice informations(which they
do not yet)
-projectile changes
-improved weaponry(means canon and balanced), for example do X-Wings now have torpedoes

I will release this mod very soon, but it will not be the final version ;)
I am planning to include some Canon campaigns from the movies and
maybe from the X-Wing series, as i think this mod should have much
more than only skirmish and as this mod name now is taken by mine,
so if anybody had the idea of doing such a thing, work with me
together :D

So, it has been no long time ago since i published this mod and the mod is already close
to its release, which is because i had worked on it a longer time already. But this only
on the brink, what i wanna tell you is i got the permissions for the use of the Rebel
Empire Pirate Model Pack, which i already use for Force Corruption. This means i can
implement a lot more units than without, here is a (not) short list of units you can
expect in the game, i will keep silent about some, as there should be surprises left
for you ;)

Empire:
V19 Torrent(Remain from Clone Wars)
ARC170(Remain from Clone Wars)
Imperial Missileboat
Imperial Assault Gunboat
Two less known ships, be curious

Rebels:
Probably some fighters from New Republic
?

Consortium:
Various pirate fighters
Few fighters from other factions
A price reduction for neutral units

Neutral(available for all factions, purchase in special buildings):
Various Clone Wars fighters
Various pirate units
Some Consortium units for considerably higher price
Fighters from factions that do not appear ingame(for example Nantex fighter from the Geonosians)

seems interesting but with that you'd probably want to redesign everything from the mining stations to build pads to the space stations. really wouldn't be too hard to do but it'd be silly to just downsize the space stations if you want to keep things canon.
