The purpose of this package is to make doom 3 much better texture quality. The textures have a noticeably higher resolution and much sharpness than original textures. Features: -over 500 High resolution textures -Most texture are 16 times bigger than original doom 3 texture. for example if the original texture had resolution 256 * 256, now has resolution 1024 * 1024 -About 85%-90% textures is completely retextured (modeling in 3d max, baking, drawing), 10-15% textures is rescaled and overlay other texture in higher resolution -large number textures has height maps, so looks rally wonderful with parallax occlusion mapping or relief mapping

I think something is wrong with the materials. materials are adapted to sikkmod.
I'll try to fix it anytime soon but it's best to use sikkmod.

To solve this problem I have opened file "wulfen_texture_pack_2.0.pk4" with zip-archivator and deleted file "base_wall.mtr" in the "materials" folder inside the archive.

This looks great. I've just installed it and Silkmod. I have a problem in that when my grenades explode and when fireballs are thrown at me it's like a clear disk, no flame at all. Looks strange. I've spent hours trying to get it to work. I have an AMD HD 7660 and I've set in profile.xml, "Property name="CatalystAI as I've seen mentioned on the Sikmod. Nothing seems to help. Any ideas.

sometimes i have the same problem . Probably a bug caused by POM but I can not fix it. Maybe Sikkpin could fix this.

it is also beautiful without POM. it is equal in quality but in a different way, more old school but totally hi-def.

the only thing i have to complain (if i can afford) are the remained doors. if you will replace the remained doors, elevator interiors, pipes, grids, computers and desks (monsters and weapons skins? i'm pretending too much) , your mod wil be perfect, really

Więcej tekstur raczej nie będę robił, ale jest jeszcze trochę dodatkowych tekstur(głownie mars city), które zrobił Monoxead.

Plik z teksturami po prostu kopiujesz do folderu base. Najlepiej będzie jak pobierzesz jeszcze sikkmod(daje wiele fajnych efektów graficznych) oraz monoxead texture(trochę dodatkowych tekstur w mars city).

This is probably caused by the materials files. to work properly with the ROE i would have to do a special version for the ROE. unfortunely I do not have time for that now, so try to delete all materials files in the Texture Pack, it should partially help.

oh zapomniałem że jesteś z polski:) materiały były robione pod podstawową wersje dooma dlatego trochę kłócą się z roe, najlepiej będzie jak usuniesz wszystkie materiały z paczki tekstur.

I tried placing it in the \base directory in Doom 3, but it doesn't seem to do anything but screw up the display on the monitor in the beginning intro. I see nothing different about the textures.

Okay i figured it out after seeing some other posts on the web. However results were... disappointing. My overall review: not worth it. It seems to replace only a handful of textures, and looks stupid when you have normal textures next to the hi-res ones. it just makes the games graphics less consistent.

My philosophy on Re-Texture projects is that if you can't do the whole thing, don't do it at all.

Sooooo, I can't run doom 3 with this.. I get about 7-14 fps.. I can run it completely fine with just sikk mod. But i add this and it beats the hell out of my graphics card.. Any tips? any way i cant lower the resolutions on the texture just a little bit or anyhinggg. Id love to get this working.
