WTS World mod is a multiplayer modification for Freelancer, featuring missions 2 earn bounty or robbing traders as a pirate but also offers trading or mining or exploring and looting of wrecks. There's a lot to do for the Freelancer to get a nice ship with good weapons and equipment.

Main features:

* a variety of 549 different planes and ships,and some of them are cloakable

* a large variety of equipment and weapons
* totally new equipment possibilities (powerplants, scanners, tractor beams, upgrades for shields and reactors, armor, radiation shields, ....) to outfit your ship with
* a lot of new systems to explore, some incredibly big with more than one "solar system“ and
* the possibility of entering the atmosphere of a planet
* special reputation settings for clans and clan bases, where you can start your own space imperium,including the chance to conquer and destroy your enemie's bases
* really unfriendly NPCs, which are a challenge for any pilot meeting the best NPC-killers in the
world, the [974] clan, which blast those like nothing
* a world wide multiplayer community with some of the best pilots around are waiting for you to PVP with them
* special server features include player cloaking, bounty hunt, special death messages, bumper wars, and more

Major changes/additions in WTS version 4.17:

- massiv rebalaning of weapons shields and other stuff
... re-ordered weapon classes (WTS special class1 now class9, special class2 now class10, rest down 2 numbers)
... removed class10 (former class8 / missile) turrets from all fighters
... class10 are now battleship only turrets
... class2 turrets are now missile turrets for battleships to defend fighters
... re-worked 'balanced' shields (especially shield offline times as low as 2 seconds)
... removed NPC shields from market
... reduced power of thrusters, reduced cruise speed, raised drag of dual thruster engines
... removed dual thrusters of (most) gunboats, downbalanced 2thruster gunboats
... rebalanced organic weapons
... set cruise charge of battleships to use some more time
... created a own weapon class for missile turrets and restricted this to BS
... re-installed orginial Red + Blue Bumper, so serious pvp red vs blue is possible again
... adjusted stats of Sleeper mine, Nova bomb and Marsian bomb to be usable as mines again
... added dual thrusters to some small crafts to have competitv ships in speed from most factions
... made small ships use small missiles - not big torps and big ships big torps not small missiles
... changed Gattlings 2 use no energy but ammo - ammo priced very cheap
- added cloak feature by w0dka
- server 2 use FLHook 1.60 done by M0tha, based on the work of mc_horst, w0dka, Mischa
- single good price limit set to 1.5 billion - credits GreyWolf
- raised solar respawn time to 24 hours - credits w0dka 4 the hex adress and GreyWolf for editing the server.dll
- corrected death fuses of lot of ships
- added some new factions and some additonal factions for special NPCs
- added special RISK NPCs (Doomsday Machine, Whale Probe, Crytal Etinity)
- re-ordered universe

You'll need to download freelancer mod manager and install the mod from there. You can drag and drop the mod onto the mod manager to begin the install.

The packer format is ".7z" and the file format itself ist
the one of the 'Freelancer ModManager'.

You need version 1.4 beta 4 of the Freelancer ModManager.
Older versions might not support the "7z" package.

Check the Mod Homepage 4 that stuff. ;)

Sebse99, Your Download has a change of 97% failed, This can be caused by slow download or the website has resetted your download causing it to instant complete and it will be corrupted then, it is best to get the files from ModDB since they will not reset it. Filefront does.

Hi guys im trying to get the mod to work but it says that Freelancer.ini does not exist not ive got the FLMM 1.4 and ive uninstalled and re-installed freelancer AND FLMM AND the mod and it still does not work any help please would be appreciated
