World in Conflict is perhaps the most audacious project that has ever been embarked upon for Rise of Nations. It will implement real-world realism into Information Age warfare. This includes radical changes to graphics, units stats and all around game-play.

Description

US Infantry are the finest infantry in the world. Their high hit-points and armor combined with their devastating fire power allows them to dominate the battlefield. Pictured here are all the infantry available to the US faction.

A. Assault Infantry are armed with carbines and rifles and they can throw frag grenades as a secondary attack; they are powerful when massed.

B. Heavy infantry too are armed with carbines and rifles, but they are also equipped with a Anti-tank rocket launchers which allows them to effectively defend and attack against enemy armor.

C. & D. Infantry snipers and support infantry are armed with battle rifles and light machine guns respectively, they are particularly effective against all kinds of enemy infantry.

E. To make matters worse for enemy vehicles, the US also fields the FGM Javelin Anti-tank missile that can be fired from long-ranges, its powerful attack ensures an instant one-hit kill against most vehicles.

F. Green Berets are premier special forces assault troops that are immune to attrition, they are armed with carbines, multi-barrel grenade launchers and rocket launchers which allows them to decimate vehicles and infantry making them highly effective shock troops. They can also demolish enemy buildings with explosive charges.

G. Special forces snipers (last but not least) are the best snipers available to the US faction so they have a significantly longer range than infantry snipers. They are also immune to attrition and they should be used to complement other special forces troops.
