World in Conflict is perhaps the most audacious project that has ever been embarked upon for Rise of Nations. It will implement real-world realism into Information Age warfare. This includes radical changes to graphics, units stats and all around game-play.

Description

Russian forces bring to the table a very efficient, economical and of course a very deadly set of ground vehicles. Their cheap production costs as opposed to the vehicles of opposing factions allow the Russians to field more armor and support vehicles. This allows the Russian player to easily overwhelm his foes. Pictured here are all the ground vehicles available to the Russian faction.

A. The Gaz Tigr is a fast and lightly armored recon vehicle that is equipped with a turret-mounted DSHK machine gun, it is capable of unleashing powerful bursts of fire, even while moving.

B. The BMP-3 is a fast and well armored IFV. With its powerful 100mm main gun and its turret-mounted HEAT missiles, it can make quick work out of infantry, light vehicles and even challenge main battle tanks.

C. The T-90M is Russia’s answer to Western next-generation main battle tanks. It is heavily armored with plate and reactive armor and it is armed with a powerful 125mm main gun that can challenge any modern day tank. It also comes with a co-axial machine gun that can keep infantry at bay. It is cheaper and faster to manufacture than most other tanks.

D. The BM-30 is a Russian heavy multiple rocket launcher. It is capable of unleashing extreme devastation with a barrage of 280mm rockets. Because it fires bigger and more powerful rockets, it is perhaps the premier MLRS system in the world.

E. The 2S19 MSTA is Russia’s heavy artillery monster. it is slow and lumbering but very powerful against any ground target.

F. The ZSU-23-4 Shilka is a lightly armored anti-aircraft artillery system. The Shilka is ideal for unleashing suppressing fire at incoming aircraft. It is rather cheap and quick to deploy as opposed to SAM-based systems.

G. As if the Shilka wasn’t enough, Russia goes the extra-mile to deploy an even greater anti-aircraft menace: The Pantsir S1. It is a dedicated Anti-Aircraft system that gives Russian forces an almost certain immunity against hostile air strikes.
