Winter Warfare is a modification set during a fictional version of World War 2 were a new Ice Age has begun. The Battle of Britian fails and Operation Sealion is a sucsess, the Soviets are defeated at Stalingrad and Kursk, D-Day fails, Italy never surrendered and Japan invaded Hawaii. This mod tells the story after the main Allied Powers have fallen such as the United States, Britian and the Soviets, instead it focuses on the remaining allies as they fight in brutal winter weather aganist a huge Axis force.
ANZAC v Austria-Hungary
Before the collapse of the United Kingdom, there were many troops stationed in Egypt, Iran, and the rest of the Middle East and North Africa. The Australian 6th Division was one of the few remaining groups left. Left dormant for much of the war, they were told to then mobilise and assault the southern-most tip of the Third Reich; Greece. Austria-Hungarian ground troops were deemed too slow to intercept the ANZACs, thus, paratroops were quick to respond. The local garrison quickly set up temporary defences, including a Pak 40, which they knew would be too minimal for the forces they would face. With reinforcements dropping in from the forest, they hoped their AT rifles would still be enough to penetrate the ANZAC's armour.

This looks nice, but Austro-Hungarians in Greece? And Austro-Hungarian paratroopers? :P
Well... Apparently Italy's being excluded, and there'd be more than enough maps with Germany being the Axis side. Japan isn't in range, nor is Finland. So... Yeah...
I was considering whether this should be a Pacific Theatre map, with the ANZACs and Japan, but we aren't supposed to start that yet... Though it could easily be converted to rice fields and jungle areas...
