It has been a long while since I have posted, but I wanted to say that I am posting an update soon to the Lands Of Always Winter. Keep in mind it may be glitchy and still very WIP but I hope you guys enjoy!

Also if Kingdom Come Deliverance comes with good mod tools we may switch over to it, but for now we will continue work on Skyrim. Which brings us to our next topic, we are wanting to form a new mod team. To do this we would like someone with experience running a mod team or that simply has good organization skills. This was our first time trying to manage a team project when we were used to working alone or very nearly alone and it got to the point where we spent more time trying to run a team and assign people tasks than we spent working on the mod. However, we still believe that things could go quicker with a well run team. We freely admit that running a team is not one of our strong points and so we would like to admit this and ask if anyone would like to help. This has the added benefit of if we do end up switching to Kingdom Come Deliverance we could still have a team leader for Skyrim. If you are interested please message me and explain how you would fit the role. To new recruits and returning crew members we will get to you as soon as we can after we finish organizing.

In the meantime here are some WIP screenshots of the upcoming update!

Easy way of fixing that would be to reinstall Skyrim:P Best way of fixing that would be to look if you missed something. Also did you completely remove the modded folder before you pasted your original folder?

Also someone should figure out how to make WiC work well with Mod Organizer. It probably would work instantly without any additional work but I hadn't tested it yet. Basically Mod Organizer copies all the files of a mod into the main Skryim data folder upon launch and then after the game is closed it removes them. That's probably not exactly what happens but from my experience that is the closest explanation I have for it working like it does.

How about quests? Will it be just Westeros or you are going to make story? And if yes, about what?

Please note that I am not directly a part of this project and that I am not contributing to the writing portion of the team at all.

That being said my understanding is that first Westeros has to be made and then quests will be added. Of course since it's being made region by region I would expect it to be similar to what MERP was doing where there were going to be quests for each of the regions but from what I remember those quests that would have been made for each of MERP's regions were simply meant to give some background to that specific region. That way the main quests would only start once the entire project was completed and thus nothing would have been spoiled and would still give players a reason to go to regions that they had already seen completed in earlier versions.

As for the timeline of WiC I think that it's starting at about the same time as the timeline in the books and if they go with a similar system to what I just described then the player *might* have the pleasure of playing through Robert's Rebellion. I used * around might because the chances for that are very slim due to the time between that event and the beginning of A Game of Thrones and the fact that it's a pretty major event and would require a tonne of time to implement well.

Anyways like I said take it with a bucket of salt since I'm not at all affiliated with the writers. Legate or Jed could give a better answer than me on this topic.

No worries if there aren't any quests it won't be for a lack of trying!

If you guys want, I don't mind doing a little bit on Lore, IE: writing text for Books and such. In terms of techincal stuff though I can't help

Also have a question, will you be changing "magic" at all? IE: Will we have pretty much non-existant super rare like in GoT, or will it be vanilla magic or different somehow etc

We are planning on making magic far more rare but far more powerful for it.

Actually the map looks empety, cause it took many months to create the naked version of the map.. the result is absolutely stunning, but now it's necessary to think about cities and png.. probably a bigger number of modders could make the difference.. If you have some particular skill, you could try to help :)

First make a moddb account then pm someone like JedJTL Moddb.com or if you really don't want a moddb account (not sure why not) then I guess Jed could give you another way of contacting him.
