Modern Warfare Mod brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.

The tactical Aid in WIC: MODERN WARFARE is already Good, but there is a very limited choice of the most Powerful Tactical Aid, primarily the Nuke. Realistically there is more than one nuke size. The TACTICAL NUKE has an explosive power equivalent to the FAT BOY bomb dropped on Hiroshima which is very weak by todays standard. A modern day nuke would probably be around 200kt-550Kt explosive power which is capable of destroying an entire map in WIC. It would be good if you could possibly add 1 or 2 more powerful nukes with more expensive prices, like from the NO HOPE mod which has 3 nukes of different sizes and prices.

A map destroying nuke makes more sense considering nukes are game enders. If anything these will come in a latter patch.

Ok, let me get this straight.

- Tactical nukes are between 20kt to about 150kt selective yeild (for cruise missiles).

- Tanks (well M1 series included, as they were first US tank to have proper anti radiation protection) can survive this within 1000 meters of them, within optimum conditions.

- Use of high yeild weapons (especially strategic ones, like in No Hope) is not realistic within the lower tactical setting of WiC

- Nukes make the game silly and unbalanced, this is why noone plays NoHope now, modern PGM weapons are as destructive as nukes anyway.

I can attest to that... ever seen a Longbow Apache fly in game? It's worse than nuke, lol.

I have flown the Longbow Apache and i must say that it impressed me well. But, their are other commonly used tactical aid in the real world that are not used in the game. Excluding nukes, another tactical aid that is in the game but i find pitiful is the airstrike. That is not what an airstrike looks like. If you want to see airstrikes view these. These are airstrikes used during the Iraqi and Vietnamese Wars. Isn't WIC: MW supposed to be Modern?
1) US AIRSTRIKE: All videos are ~1min

Now look at the WIC: Modern Warfare airstrike and compare the differences. I think modern warfares airstrike is weaker than ones used in WW2. What happened to the carpet bombs and bunker-busters which all exist and were used in the Vietnamese, Iraqi Wars and even WW2? Surely those are realistic enough?

Remember, WIC: Modern Warfare is supposed to "up the ante on realism and authenticity in every role". You dont need to add the above tactical aid for 20 or 30
TP, you can make it 80-100 so its not used much. Overall though the vehicles, infantry, air, and support roles are very good. Its just the tactical aid that needs improvement. Plus the FAARP in air role is awesome. A majority of my tactical points wins come from the aircraft spawned.

Actually the reason behind this is because we are in the process of gradually replacing all TA's with flown aircraft. That's why TA stuff is weak -- they are going to be removed permanently, when technology develops enough to make them look good on spawned aircraft.

So yes, we're well aware of TA issues -- it's not like we're stupid to not realize what 'reality' means.

So the aircraft will now be providing the tactical aid support? Sweet!
