How many cruise missiles do you think the new Heavy SAM code will be able to handle before being overwhelmed?

Remember that all it takes is *ONE* cruise missile to get past the defensive screen to destroy you and your entire squad of SAMs + artilleries sitting nearby.

4-5 is actually reasonable figure. 5-10 is also reasonable figure, if you're lucky.

PAC-2 will probably deal with 3 to 4 missiles before they come into close range. But this is also assuming the CM's are not flying in very low altitudes -- when they do, PAC-2 will lose guidance and miss completely.

PAC-3 will deal with 5th missile. Because there is only 1 PAC-3 launcher in a Heavy SAM squad, it won't be able to deal with 2nd CM in time, since the TEL launcher has to wait 3 seconds for rocket blast to clear before it could fire a 2nd missile. If you have two Heavy SAM's, then PAC-3's would be able to deal with 2 CM's since 2nd Heavy SAM will also launch.
