Depicted both through the eyes of a young man with a sore past, and through the exterior of the cold, horrific world he's in; Wicked Evolving For a Broken Future is a story-devoted and projection driven psychological horror that really does open up the can of worms on you. You'll be battling your moral-self to choose what side to stick to, gripping to the immense and wealthy narrative, and flocking to the psychological effects like the raw animalistic spawn that you are.

You begin by entailing the roads that Boicy first found himself in trouble on, progressing to a series of mental-tunnel battles against Boicy's mind, fending off and blocking the regression of childhood abuse, finally, the alleviation of Boicy is brought on by the damaging appeal of living in a dead world of your own creation.

This is a horror, by definition of witnessing - You will be following the horror and gorey story telling through the eyes and mind of Boicy Casphere, an 18 year old with a great past of physical and mental abuse. Wicked Evolving' does not follow the colloquialism of other horror-game design, and so much attention has been spent on creating a professional & neat piece that will detach itself from typical HL2 Mod design.





Environment

  • Common environments would be idealized as woods, hospitals or small buildings, in this form of narrative, but Wicked' does not follow this easy template of walls and gravel. The environment is based on the post-occurrences of delusions of Boicy's almost great mind. You may find yourself in a single shade, sterile, concrete room with almost no lighting, but this is the very aspect that influences the sense of fear and understanding - as you listen to Boicy's troubles.

  • The idealized version of the world in times like that of which are described above do not have any place here, what you see will not be what Boicy sees. A psychotic episode can occur, un-scripted and ready to distort...

Armament

  • Weaponry is a very large part of Wicked'. We have spent a great deal of development time on the sound engineering & design of weaponry, the creation and design of 3D work & massaging of the weapons to have their own unique feel, and have utilized many aspects of great technical detail improvement with the recent changes to the game's engine.

  • Weaponry is implemented as a fun-tactic, as much as it is for defense. We've worked on the incredibly important balance of weapons to fit into the genre. Whilst maintaining both integrity and balance of integration with the weapons, we also take-up sides that conjure to 'Bangs are fun!' - We've put some real kick to Wicked's guns!

We're moving.

Earlier today a contract and agreement was signed by the directing manager for Maker's Lair, and directing manager for Team NoS. This collaboration has resulted in technical advancements making Wicked Evolving For A Broken Future independent.

For those who do not know about, or are not aware of Maker's Lair or Wicked Evolving, I suggest you visit both the MODDB page & the studio page.

We will not cease development of release or management on MODDB, not at all, we're just moving to a more parent and correct site. We suggest you all either track this page, if you're aware of what Wicked Evolving is, or head to the MODDB page and grab all the details you can(!)

The MODDB profile will re-main as active as this will, both being updated with the exact same content at the exact same time, this includes articles and downloads.

I don't know if you have checked any of the profiles of people associated with this page any time of late, but it'd show that we all visit this page often, and check sub-pages, like Media.

I'm still shocked that this page has not been updated in far over three months. - It feels like last week we was giving poor comps the royal treatment.

We've actually gained the most watchers since the second most recent article post, in this black-out, which is even more of a light at the end of this tunnel.

If at any time we decide to chuck-out Wicked', which I can't see cause for, we'd certainly inform the base of visitors.

Well, the genre of visual novel is typically mis-construed, meaning it is a text-type or adventure style RPG or explaining of a book. But it also relates to that which means; 'A novel or book transformed into a game'.

I'll be changing it now, as many others have this mis-conception.
