Just so you get the notification or something (I'm a Moddb noob) it's a map, and like Haiko said, drag it into the maps folder in hl2.
It just demo map. Possible in closer future I'll make a full mod.
Downloaded this map...not showing up in my Steam library. Looks very promising and would love to play it.
Just place downloaded map in: steamapps/common/half-life 2/hl2/maps/ folder. Than in the game type: map westhaven.

This mod was really fun to play, and felt like it was taken right out of Half life 2. Just a couple suggestions/bug fixes. First off, the skybox. The sky is having an "afterimage problem" as i would call it. This is probably caused by a gap in your skybox brushes. Check the corners and stuff. Also, at the part where you find the crowbar, it would be nice if you woke up in a jailcell of sorts, where you eventually escape to the bathroom, and lock the door behind you. I also suggest changing the Hunter-Chopper at the end to a Gunship, to add more of a challenge, since the Gunship has rocket defenses, while the Hunter-Chopper does not.
