WBM is a single-player mod for Half-Life in which I want to show that the old HL engine still can make miracles. All textures and models are high-def, more realistic levels and weapons will take you to a new world... to my own Black Mesa as I see it. The development progress is on the final stage, more than 50% of all things done, so I decided it is a little too late for releasing a beta. I hope I will finish this summer, wish me luck! As for the storyline - you are playing as someone named Jack Randal, a BM tech engineer. You arrive to the complex in a couple of hours before the Incident (pretty typical starting you might think) and after a walk to our workplace something happens... but it's not the Xen invasion... it's the alternative story with an unexpected ending.

I'm sorry its all because of stupid job... i come home with empty head, no ideas, no thoughts etc. Plus the 64bit OS just don't launch the damn game! I really want to finish it but it takes time to get used with new life.

i reckon that would be a good spot to start a mod
a goiod black ops mod need to be made theres a couple of ready but they dont seem quite complete
we need a good black ops steam capable mod to complete the hl series

I also get half-life looking like half-life 2 now and its not hl source even the zombie has a hole under it where the head goes like the hl2 headcrab

yeah the half life engine is still capable of alot of things, ppl just haven't done it yet.
Motion blur, tga textures, ragdolls, PhyX, reflections, refractions, rope simulation... Seems like they have done a lot so far actually.
