i forgot i turned off the lighting in newwolf because there was some performance isssues, its r_light 2 to turn it back on

This is fun. The levels feel nearly completely different even though they're identical.

It's slightly funny when it crashes on the original WOLF3D.EXE when you
shoot a guard.

The only thing I don't like is the "always run" thing in the Newwolf version. As a keyboard-only player, turning is way too fast, and having to hold the shift to "not run" is a bit much. Would it be possible to turn this off somehow?

i have a bunch of unfinished levels for it. i am in kind of wait and see mode right now, hoping the community could help collaborate on this.

"allwaysrun 0" in console seems to fix the running issue.
