WFUT is a unique mod in the land of class based capture the flag mods. It features ten different classes:
- Cyborg
- Demoman
- Engineer
- Gunner
- Infiltrator
- Marine
- Field Medic
- Pyrotech
- Recon
- Sniper
Each of the classes is specialized in therms of gameplay, having its ow health, speed, armor and firepower, thus giving a mix that is varied while at the same time having each class very powerful in its own right.
WFUT proceeds from where WFA and WFQ2 left off by making a mod true to the WF style by having the balance of classes and very fast paced game play, but adds the flavor of the Unreal world. WFUT leaves the idea of the grapple and uses the translocator found in UT instead. This changes the pace of the game and the tactics that are used during play. In addition WFUT has a toned down version of the Flak Cannon from Unreal to keep that idea instead of using a shotgun as the fallback weapon for the classes.

This mod's gunz kinda suck.. (granades, etc.) lol but good idea with the characters (reminds me a bit of Counter Strike... in a good way)
Sure, it has its pros, very original... it's smaller, it's smarter ;)
in my opinion i think this is better than UNF
You must also remember that it's small... at least, for a "fortress-like" mod... and the classes are much more original than the UNF ones... ;)
I must say that I prefer UNF to this. However, this is an original mod, if a dated idea...
The classes were nice but here is things I reckon could have been improved:
Use of Keyboard Input instead of Console Commands
More better maps (These where obviously made by n00bs)
A better Flame Thrower (AW's Phoenix works alot better)
I played it long ago... I don't remember most things of the mod... the only thing I can say is that I usually played with the Cyborg :rolleyes:
I downloaded this once. It had some nice classes but the map pack....well....nuff said.
