Warm Gun: The Second Coming of the Wild West
A futuristic wild west, Warm Gun combines the favorite motifs of the classic western genre with the scraps of an obliterated technocracy.
World War III has been fought to the tipping point and ecologists’ long unheeded cries have been silenced by the grim truth of their predictions. To the last drop of oil have the world’s resources been depleted, and only sporadic traces of modern structure can be sifted in the dust. Time ticks forward but humans must retrace their advancement back, through a history that has already been lived and to the Wild West for the second time around. We have trampled ahead to the past in muddy boots, to the United States of late 19th century. Greeted by the ghost of the wide-open country, the exhausted land is barren too, of all the old dreams we fulfilled beyond our means.
This spun western lets you take control of 6 original characters; choose from weapons new and strange and a wider range of modern contraptions with primitive power. Classic and innovative, undoubtedly original, every FPS player will find happiness with Warm Gun.
Stay Tuned...

Great stuff, good to hear that you guys are still working hard on this game :D
Just keeps looking better and better with each update.
No bells and whistles? I like Bells and Whistles! Diggin' your map, it seems to lag on the flythrough, though. Great work, looking forward to a release!
this mod can somewhat outperform the lame game Damnation. ^^
I hope your team is big enough and everyone is being nicely productive. :)
Thanks man..yea when we saw damnation we were like...um yea thats sort of what we are doing...hahaha but yea the game was a flop and we are just making a core fps... its going to be fast and smooth and fun as hell to play... no bells and whistles...just core fun gameplay is our goal.
yea dude i worked on damnation throughout 2008 as an enviro mesh artist and they totally got rolled over by their publisher deadlines. all the assets looked great then they lit and worldbuilt it in like 5 mins, was v dissapointed :(
WoW really eh
thats what happens when publishers push your product out too soon...
Sorry to hear that man... was looking like a promising game.
What you doing these days... you looking for work ???
We have openings for dedicated modelers :D
oh nice try m8 but ive been the art director of AFF:Planetstorm for 5 years now :P i wish you good luck in the MSU!
ive been playing damnation just cos its full of my stuff, and actually the later levels are quite beautiful. the scale and scope of the worlds is also breathtaking, some of the maps are seamless for miles. they needed another 6 months i reckon.
Roger that... yea planetstorm looks kick ass
keep up the killer work I think you guys will do well...
the scale and scope of your project is totally impressive.
Best of luck to you guys
Thanks for the comments

I like the idea, sounds a bit like that old Wild West movie, bit steampunk-ish.
