Warm Gun: The Second Coming of the Wild West A futuristic wild west, Warm Gun combines the favorite motifs of the classic western genre with the scraps of an obliterated technocracy. World War III has been fought to the tipping point and ecologists’ long unheeded cries have been silenced by the grim truth of their predictions. To the last drop of oil have the world’s resources been depleted, and only sporadic traces of modern structure can be sifted in the dust. Time ticks forward but humans must retrace their advancement back, through a history that has already been lived and to the Wild West for the second time around. We have trampled ahead to the past in muddy boots, to the United States of late 19th century. Greeted by the ghost of the wide-open country, the exhausted land is barren too, of all the old dreams we fulfilled beyond our means. This spun western lets you create your own one-of-a-kind characters and unique gangs; choose from weapons new and strange and a wider range...

The Warm Gunners are still pushing forward, and with only 2 weeks left before the Make Something Unreal contest things are getting tight. We are driving harder than ever before, and hope to have it all together in time. Check out the latest media... we got a nice selection for you this time around... some videos, characters and level shots.

First things first I'd like to share some promotional media with you... Warm Gun was one of the few mods featured in the latest issue of EDGE magazine. (i know the scans are not the best quality, I'm in Canada and we don't have a hard copy yet... sorry) but you get the point.
Next I'd like to post a couple videos of our first two levels, these videos show WIP fly bys of CTF-Red River Canyon and DM- Heart of Darkness. These two levels will be released with the Oct 17th Alpha.
We are also progressing with our character development... these next two images show the Scout (Brave) WIP, he is just about ready for in game... only a few more small modifications.
We are really trying to make it a solid experience... And we thank everyone here at Mod DB for the great comments and feedback, we have made tons of adjustments and improvements from the constructive criticism. We truly appreciate all the support... Stay tuned, we wont disappoint. JC

the quality of anthing in this mod is amazing, but most of all I like your maps, as you are really putting things together in High Quality, too. It would be easy to say: let's boast out characte models and forget about the rest, but you are trying for overall high quality - and that takes time and patience. Great job!

We are taking the time to do it right... and hopefully the end product will show that. We don't want to revisit the old models and have to spend time fixing things... we just want to move forward.
WOW, now that look effing epic. But I would like to see a small map because for some reason I'm useless on bigger maps when it comes to UT3... Anyways, I can't wait!
