Warm Gun: The Second Coming of the Wild West A futuristic wild west, Warm Gun combines the favorite motifs of the classic western genre with the scraps of an obliterated technocracy. World War III has been fought to the tipping point and ecologists’ long unheeded cries have been silenced by the grim truth of their predictions. To the last drop of oil have the world’s resources been depleted, and only sporadic traces of modern structure can be sifted in the dust. Time ticks forward but humans must retrace their advancement back, through a history that has already been lived and to the Wild West for the second time around. We have trampled ahead to the past in muddy boots, to the United States of late 19th century. Greeted by the ghost of the wide-open country, the exhausted land is barren too, of all the old dreams we fulfilled beyond our means. This spun western lets you create your own one-of-a-kind characters and unique gangs; choose from weapons new and strange and a wider range...
I was going to get on here and drop some crazy story about how we lost all these members and how one guy fell down a cliff... But I'm not going to get into crazy mode, instead Im going to bring it to you straight up.

Hey Mod DB 'ers, I was going to get on here and drop some crazy story about how we lost all these members and how one guy fell down a cliff... But I'm not going to get into crazy mode, instead Im going to bring it to you straight up.
This game is beastly...
We are in deep and this is sink or swim time for us. We are still in need of animators... and we would love another rigger, someone who can navigate UT3 and help get all our assets in. So basically I'm here today to bring you an update and ask for some help. This will be our last news post until we release, so keep you're fingers crossed.
The Levels
For our first release we are set to showcase three levels, One level for each mode of gameplay. Here are some of the latest WIP images from Heart of Darkness and Red River Canyon. The third level wont be shown until we enter the contest, need to save something for the big show :)
Props - Our 3D team has really started to shine and we are getting a steady stream of assets coming in. The new levels we are making are more urban and we are really going to expand after the phase 4 deadline. Right now we are just pounding out the existing levels to make them as polished as possible.
Characters & Weapons - We are proud to say we have all six of our characters set up and rockin... Only we are still on the fence with a few of them, some might not make the cut for the first release. As for weapons, well they are sort of dictating who makes it in... haah so some of you long time watchers might know what weapons fit what character :)
Videos - We have really had to scale back a bunch of things because of the lack of animators, and thankfully Ryan Barrett has stepped in. Ryan is working his butt off right now making our game come to life, and I cant thank him enough.
PS. If your an animator and your lookign for a dedicated team, drop me a line.
We also have our new website up and running with forums. We are hoping that when we release the mod we will have a few people signed up to post us feedback and find bugs. We will also be looking for testers and a good beta team to help us make this game tight as possible.
So please feel free to sign up... and bare with us while it gets polished.
Thanks again for checking us out and keeping our drive alive, Keep it Locked N' Loaded.

meow!
this is going to be the best UT3 mod I think
too bad I cant find servers for UT3 mods because of bugs with the UT3 game itself
its a strange thing....(wich sux)
I'd so like to play Haunted Co-Op but I can't find any servers. DAMN. BTW: Warmgun is a serious candidate for THE mod for UT3.
Beautiful as aways.
Too good.
Cannot wait till the first release!
Looking brilliant. Very pro... top work all round...
Damn have you guys ever been busy! Looking very professional, as usual.
