This is a 28 mission campaign integrated into the standalone extended gaming and mission development system wolfman-MC2X. wolfman-MC2X is based on the released source code for MechCommander 2.

Sure; it is an infantry type unit with more armor and more weapons than just a MG. PowerArmor can be deployed and is available after mission if not destroyed.

You might like the UW Specialist; that can sneak around and blow stuff up using explosives. You can do tricky stuff with such a unit without using a big battle force of mechs. You can deploy 12 elementals and attack too.

The second picture shows the inventory prior to the next mission; the deployed units from earlier mission are the default deployment team for the next mission. The salvaged support units are now in your inventory.
