Hello Everyone,

it has been a long time without any dev response, indeed. I am really sorry about that but there has been a lot going on in personal lives of the team and so there is almost no time to work on this mod. And frankly, a lot of community enthusiasm for modding has been lost thanks to two unsuccessful attempts of HD Interactive to create Nexus 2 and also NBC Universal banning incredible BattleStar Galactica modification.

Let's answer the most important question that you possibly have about SG: War Begins, B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 and W40k: Battlefleet Nexus. Are these modifications dead? The answer is NO! However, there will be no massive releases or regular updates as there is not enough free time for such things.

What is it that you should look forward to during 2014 then? SG: War Begins is going to get small update fixing few thing there and there, bringing back energy weapons and improving drone mechanics (a little) for Ancient Battleship, visually altering some parts of GUI, improving some planet visuals and very few other small things. W40k: Battlefleet Nexus might be (finally) getting a small Alpha Version release with handful Imperial and Chaos ships by the end of 2014. B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 ... well, let's say that we will see what we can do if there is enough free time for this one too.

i DO NOT! care what state this mod is currently in as long as some of it works and preferably an imperial ship or two please please please please ........... release a public preview doesnt even have to be a beta test hell id pay for it if it wasnt against gw's copyright to do so. you know what sod it id pay anyway just get a test even one ship thats working out their for us its driving me nuts knowing this mod is here and i cnat do a thing (unless you can tell somehting to learn then ill help)

Well, this vessel is definitely going in the mod, but I'll most likely build it from ground up again, rather than to clear this model - the limit is 12k polys, and this bad boy has about 900k atm, and it's going to get a lot higher.;)

My goal with this model in particular is to improve my modelling skills, and to make a badass wallpaper art when it's done, kind of like this ( 3designvis.wordpress.com ), the only difference being that this one actually HAD 12k polys. I'll share when done. ;)

While I have you, I hope you don't mind me asking;

Do you have plans to include the Terminus Est?

And are you going to do a campaign for the mod, in the future?

We have no plans of making the Terminus Est, or any particular craft that is a standalone model atm, because I am focusing on making the more generic vessel classes, which can be used in multitude - like the firestorm, scythe cruiser etc.

As far as the campaign goes, I really can't say anything, because I just don't know yet. As the only modeller currently working on the project (haven't heard from Teliri in a while now), work is slow at best. If we get more people to work on the project, we will have more to show in less time, and maybe up our goals a notch. :)

I'm sad I can't contribute, I'm really looking forward to this. But I don't think I can do much, maybe write the story/missions of the campaign, if you ever wish to do one. It's been so long since I did any Nexus modding (I made my own weapons and such)... I don't think I can give you anything useful at this stage :/

And to give you hope, yes, when the generic vessels are done, definitely! As you can clearly see, I've got a thing for these ornate gothic ships, so the more I can make, the better. You'll get too see quite a few more, I can promise you that! :)
