How it all started.

This mod actually started sometime 2005 as an idea in the mind of the someone you all mostly know as The Hunter alto the idea never gotten any form until early 2006 were I made the very first model for the mod and started working on organizing the mod and planning things by myself.
The mod itself is based of an old PC strategy game known as WarGames which was made by a game studio which was formerly known as Interactive Studios.
Alto the game was absolutely amazing and very ahead of it's time when it was released it never got the attention which it deserved (or at least not in my opinion) as many features of the game were seen in other RTS games way later and some I have yet to see in other RTS games.

The game.

The game itself is about the N.O.R.A.D. (North American Aerospace Defense Command) and the W.O.P.R. (War Operations Plan Response).
The N.O.R.A.D. represents the human side of the game which must protect humanity from total annihilation by the W.O.P.R.
The W.O.P.R. side is a race controlled by a big super computer and their weapons are state of the art high tech weaponry.
The W.O.P.R. mainframe wants to prevent war in the world by eliminating humanity and only the N.O.R.A.D. is capable of stopping the W.O.P.R. advance.

Anyway that's it for history about the game and the mod. With this project we want all gamers in the world to get a second chance to experience this game on a better capable 3D engine with all features from the original game restored which has lead us to create this mod. We all hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did making it.

Fellow fellow modders, community members and fans.This mod projects was originaly released durring a time when Windows XP was the dominant operating system.Because of this it caused abit of a problem once windows Vista, 7 and 8 came around the corner and broke much of the original launching software which is required to play the mod.

The re-release of this projects is there for not realy an update to the projects themselfs but for those users who had trouble getting the mods to work under newer versions of windows should now find it easier to play this mod.

Very funny mod! :D
Only two problems:
The ammount of cash is too low for such prices. You can edit supply docks to provide more cash =)
And the quality of unit speech sounds is low.
Otherwise this is an amazing mod!
Keep it up, wanna play final release one day :beer:

The AI wont attack me in your custom maps they only build there base and thats it but the mod is freaking good keep up the good work

I just gave the beta a quick try in skirmish mode, and I'm really impressed!
While I've never played the original WarGames, this mod definitely seems like a keeper.
(The AI still needs some tweaking though... )

Lol. If you plan to sit in your base and turtle you will lose a game of WGZH. Don't blame us for lack of money when low income as a result of passive playstyle is something we have intentionally implemented.

Map control is the name of this game, capture the enemy Computer centres and control the map, otherwise you will most likely lose. This mod is quite anti-turteller.

Great job on the mod! Honestly, the best I've ever played for Zero Hour. Can't wait for the full release. :D

Deliverance - Try changing the map you want to play on. If you are playing on an uncompleted map, or there is no AI script, you win by default. That's why I don't map for Zero Hour, too confusing. Give me something like the StarCraft WorldEdit and I'll be more at home. :P

Only problem I can find atm was the ammount of cash. Maybe up the amount of hackers allowed in the Command Center or allw for the building of muliple. Kudos! Great job again!
