These ones are defanatly far better than the old ones, i'm watching this mod, my only complete is there is only 1 gnomish unit in the dwarven (Khaz-Modan) Army and that is the Mage.

Will there be Wildhammer dwarves?

No, but it's a possibility actually, it would just take reskinned dwarven models mostly. The problem is, the Wildhammers rely heavily on their Griffons for military power, and flying units are very hard/very complex to implement on Medieval 2 engine, so they would only have land units.

Gnomes weren't really present in Warcraft 3, because they were fighting the Troggs in Gnomeregan. In fact, I only included gnomes in the Dwarven roster so that they weren't completely absent.

y did u include goblins? ive argued this a million times, they werent a major millitary force in any scenario, they were mecenaries for higer and the cartels were the black market of the WC universe

I would play as the scourge! dont you dare put any gnomes in there!!! and add dragons, even though they cant exactly fly, they can still walk, and they could act a little bit like a siege weapon, the preparing animation would be the dragons fly in the spot, making him imune to "ground" damage, plus, hes attack would be "fire balls" , this would be a simple piece of animation that would make the player believe that the dragons are flying, when they are not, i dont know, i dont understand much about the complexity of these things...

I think that there should be Turen, Trolls and Forsaken divided, if you already put Goblins. If Goblins are in, along with Scarlet Crusade, then the Horde races should be divided for gameplay. Btw, i'm just curious, but how are the Scourge, the Scarlet Crusade and Lordaeron co-exist? xD

no Gilneas? they were a powerful and influential force in the Eastern Kingdoms too, and rose more so when Strom declined, they were also a strong enough member of the Alliance that they were needed more by the Alliance than they needed the Alliance.. so Gilneas should probably be included in this, Cataclysm has provided a lot of references for them now too. and I'm talking Human Gilneas, pre-Worgen and Greymane Wall. also, what about Arathor in Arathi? they were still around then.. and are still there in WoW, shouldn't they be in it too? these two are pretty major players that would add more realism, as well as fill up some empty (rebel) space

haha come on, if that was the case, all of the factions should be included, so you'd have to have Arathor, Gilneas, Kul'Tiras, Alterac and all the Human kingdoms from second war. And if you put those you have to put all the Orcish and Troll clans, Dwarven too. It's just too much factions. But as I said above, factions should be altered.

There is one thing about this thats always bugged me about the project. The choosable factions make no sense, including lore wise.

Currently, there are not enough High Elves left to really be a faction. The faction was put to near extinction when Arthas destroyed it. Most of what was left became the Blood Elves to honor the dead, of which because of the loss of there well, lost lot of there magic and went to different types. There are too few that call themselves high elves to warrant a faction.

Next; Lordaeron's population was demolished, of course not literally, but most were killed. Like the High Elves, the Remnants went to either Stormwind or Theramore (Theramore mostly, SW was barely involved in the 3rd war). Scarlet Crusade was also created by remnants of Lordaeran, of which after corruption was apparent, was branched off into the Argent Dawn.

Then you have these other small factions. None of it makes sense, you grab factions from different points in time and grab random factions that aren't very threatening by themselves. I actually pointed some of this out a long time ago on your forums when you guys were working on this.

The only ones that make sense are; Stormwind, Theramore(Though small), Horde, Night Elves, Blood Elves, Scourge, Forsaken, Argent Dawn, Scarlet Crusade, & Burning Legion. If you want to pull a Troll Empire, do one that makes sense and has actually been organized at one point. Use Forest Trolls, not frost trolls. If you want to use small factions, then bring in other ones. Like the Dark Horde, which is small but a actual faction thats threatening. You could just combine them with Dark Irons since they work together anyway, and would create a more powerful faction.

There is a lot that can be made for improvements and WOULD make sense. People want warcraft in total war, but they also want a GOOD one. That makes and can make sense.

Basically, know enough about the lore to create a total war game that makes sense. You can have the story start from the first war, and if you don't die, as the years progress, it goes into the second war, AI factions appear, etc, then lot of these factions can be used, and if they are destroyed, create some of these other factions you guys have. Now if you just have all your current faction choices start up at once. Honestly its just dumb with not much depth. :P. I understand all the hard work put into those, it still won't exclude decisions that made no sense. I understand people want to see some of these factions in action, and you can, just combine them with factions they are aligned to, it will make a much better, more variety type of game. Like my Dark Horde example or even the New Horde. Dark Horde has orcs, trolls, ogres, dark irons, etc. A faction with a lot of variety, same with Alliance, and New Horde. There are a lot of factions to choose to make a great total war, you guys are just dividing the big ones into small ones and throwing in huge ones from different parts of history.

Well the only problem with your comment is that the mod is actually based on Warcraft 3, that's why the High Elves, Lordaeron and such are still around, while Blood Elves, Forsaken, Argent Dawn, etc are emergent factions that will appear if both factions are conquered by the Scourge.

I'm going to be a pest here, but, I wish you would include naga as a faction, they'd be hard, probably impossible to animate, but they'd be a helluva faction

These are the new faction symbols. Feedback please.

Note that they are supposed to be small, that's why they are so pixelized.
