Warcraft Total War is a total conversion mod for Medieval II Total War. Our goal is to bring the Warcraft universe into a Total War game. This mod will feature epic battles with units from the Warcraft universe and a new campaign that will cover the events of the Third War and beyond.

Description

The unfinished Warcraft Total War Alpha released in the Azeroth Total War TWC-thread back in march the 29 at Total War Center. It has a few High Elven, Dwarf, Scourge (i think) and Ogre units plus the full Warcraft 1 themed Human rosters for Theramore, Stormwind, Lordaeron and the full Horde-roster. Be advised there are some heroes available in the folder as well as some other files. This mod has only a very unbalanced custom battle-mode - the campaign is there but isn't playable. Feel free to take a look at it though as he had done some work on it since the 2012 version. This was released as a resource for anyone working on Warcraft-mods and everything is free to use in Warcraft-projects - feel free to test out the factions in custom battles. The humans are replaced in our more recent version so feel free to use them in your own WTW-projects - give credit to Eoghan Wolfkin for all the models, and to the old WTW-team for the 2012-material. Place folder in M2TW/mods/wtw & click bat-file

I'm guessing you mean you can't run the campaign? If so learn to read because it says quite clearly that only custom battles work.

Use winrar to extract the mod, then add the mod-folder into Medieval II Total War/Mods/WTW - the name of the mod-folder has to be renamed from WTWold to WTW in order to run it.

If you have Westeros with a version called/named WTW this need also to be changed otherwise you would launch it instead.

The campaign can be entered but isn't finished in this release, hence the "unfinished"line - but it's unique because this one aimed to be Warcraft One Total War, basically Orcs and Humans.
