I essentially like it, but the joint point (also where the body joins the legs)looks neither nice nor tyranidical...

Seregruth, thanks for comment. The joint of which you speak of, do you mean the whole thing, the vase like lower part, or just the bar that literally connects upper body with the lower part?

I was reffering to the "bar", but looking at it now, I think the entire lower part should be more robust...

Last couple of days I was thinking on some more organic look for that part. I took your suggestions into consideration, just for now, nothing has popped up that would be a good "tyranidish" replacement.

I am not tyranid expert, but as I remember in the graphic novel Titan, tyranids had ability to control some Empire machines. Maybe passive "power" of this node can be something like that, to change behavior of enemy units.
I like more this variant and agree with Seregruth abouth lower part.

Vlado, I'm not sure, but I think titan wasn't controlled, I believe it got stuck in some giant web. It was more of a mechanical that mental problem, but again, read it long ago.

I read it also few years ago, I am not so sure about precise details. But again, that node could at least affect some units, especially infantry?

Description

You will notice that here, main body of the node is more hunched and a bit further out. I have changed spore chimneys as well, replacing former with these, which are closer to original ones produced by Forge World.
Tell me, which passive adaptation do you prefer and would like to see in game?
