This is passive one, so it should create several effects that will influence behavior of enemy units, while the active one will attack in range like your standard listening post.
Tell me ralph, which passive adaptation do you like more, this one or the alternative?

This is poly heavy model and will certainly be cut down in that regard, but I will try to keep it as close as possible to the look you can see here. Passive adaptation for Tyranid Consumption Node, one of 2 possible upgrades.
Now, a question for you.
Does it look like a piece of Tyranid bio architecture?
