The Unofficial Patch is not really a mod, but while the default basic patch only fixes bugs, the optional plus patch restores a lot of hidden content, including new quests and new maps!

Wesp, which files should I delete to go straight to main menu after clicking to start the game ? Those 4-5 intro videos started to get old pretty fast each time I'm about to play the game...

No need to delete anything, just rename the media folder to something else!

I am having issues with the Gary phone call after freeing his friend Barbus, I have tried the console cmds you have listed on the tech support site and re-entered the hub after doing the cmds, but it didn't work. Can you type it out on here in case i've got it wrong? Also any other way to get around this issue so I can complete this quest and move on in this awesome game!

What are your problems exactly? Does it not ring after you leave the Fu Syndicate?

The two connected console command would be:

G.Story_State = 55
G.Gary_Know = 0

Could it be possible: after you get 5 masquerade violations or lose all your humanity, rather than a "game over" the Prince declare a blood hunt for you? Then along with the Inqusition, you would also have to deal with kindred bountyhunters. Because, it's so annoying to lose the game after you lose all your masquerade points or lose all the humanity you have. What if I want to roleplay a bloodthirsty monster? A frenzied vampire villian? I don't wanna surrender to the Sherif! I want to fight back or hide or run... anything. Wouldn't that be so fun? And somehow, if we manage to rise up our humanity and masquerade points, things could set straigth and the Prince would remove the blood hunt on our head.

There already is a bloodhunt on you in the game, so I don't know what would so different about it...

Basically, I don't want my game to end when I lose all my humanity and masquerade points. So, I imagined a lore friendly and enjoyable way to make it happen.

It is hard to continue your game with a low humanity level. You have to keep your blood pool filled all the time, otherwise your character frenzy too often and cause you to keep losing masquerade and humanity points. Eventually, your game is over when there is no point left in either masquerade or humanity. You get executed by the Sherif.

Of course, it's not hard to keep your humanity level high. But sometimes, I just want to roleplay an evil character. But like I said before, the game mechanics force you to be good, in order to prevent your game from ending.

I think in the PnP game you loose all control over your character if your humanity is too low, so the game tries to never get it below 2. As for masquerade breaks, if there was a blood hunt everytime you get it high, the end hunt would be meaningless...

Exactly what AmericanCrime said: "AN essential Bloodlines patch/mod. It fixes almost everything inherently wrong with the vanilla game and aims to enhance the experience as well by restoring content. Highly Recommended!!!!!" This is the TRUE patch for any loyal fan of the game. There is absolutely no reason to not use this patch over any other patch, that claims to be, 'official'. All the mods for the game, use this patch as their foundation & regularly update to work alongside this masterpiece…
