One of the first things you may notice in the title is that the "B" is missing from VTMB, this is not an accident. The Final Nights is an expansion to an otherwise flawless video game built upon the success of the Camarilla Edition series of mods. The "B" has been removed because this expansion can no longer bare the name Bloodlines as it is so far removed from the original game as to warrant the name change. The idea behind this expansion is, and always will be the notion of a completely new experience unlike we've seen so far. With 7 completely brand new clans, 5 new disciplines, extra quests, new NPCs, new game mechanics and new music, the features seem endless. All of this is being built upon the Camarilla Edition series incorporating such things as the blood timer system, pedestrian blood dolls, and the new combat system. Combined we feel the name Bloodlines must be removed from this game, and thus we now simply have "The Final Nights".

This is a collection of videos that we've been releasing lately. We have demonstrations of 3 TFN exclusive NPCs; Akeem, Silvia Black, and Jimmy Reed. We will be introducing 2 new reworked disciplines such as Auspex and Presence, along with the new Inspection System in TFN 1.4.

Enjoy watching!

Hey, I've just installed that mod over 1.2 retail copy and found out that it doesn't natively support FHD. So i respatched the game and now main menu picture is stretched in vertical direction. No big deal, really, it's just that Wesp's patches seem to integrate that. (And i think CE did too, since it was based on UP, although I'm not sure) Anyway, just thought I'd let you know, great work you've done here. Oh and hurry up that 1.3 patch, will ya?

Are you talking about the widescreen patch? Yeah, that stretches the hud and character sheet which is why I don't use it. Both CE and TFN are built upon the 6.5 unofficial patches so I'm not sure what to tell you there. Thanks for the compliments are we're finishing up 1.3, only have a few more backgrounds to complete and the Assamite female to create and we're ready for release! :)

Well, using 4:3 resolutions on 16:9 monitor stretches the picture even more. Not to mention pixelization. Yeah, for some reason i thought that after installing CE i didn't have to patch the game. Maybe you can include it as an option in the installer? I always have that utility handy but other people may struggle with it.

Well, TFN packages the resolution patcher with the game but I'm not sure how to make it an option in the installer. This may seem silly but I actually purchased a 19" 4:3 LCD monitor last year just so I could play TFN at it's native 1280x1024 resolution. So that should tell you how obsessed I am with this silly game, HAHA! I'll see if I can play around with the installer to make this an option but I'm not sure if I can. Good idea though!

I just poked around in the game directory and found it :D It's in tools directory, right? Thing is i just used my own without even looking. If it's already there you can just mention it on the information pages IN BIG LETTERS SO EVERYONE CAN SEE. Oh and i still have my old 17" CRT monitor (along with WinXP PC to run old games on) it just hurts my eyes :D (real oldschool gamers buy new eyes instead of new monitors) :D
P.S. Okay i won't write anything on that matter anymore, not to distract you from improving the mod 24/7/365

Haha you're fine! I enjoy getting messages on here. You're right, I should've purchased new eyes instead of a monitor but I couldn't afford them, plus I'd need new glasses to go with the eyes, HAHA!

Oh how I'd love to tell you yes to this question. The game engine only allows us so many clans and disciplines and we've maxed out on both, so we'd have to scrap some of the current ones to make room for Malks and Gangrel, plus we'd have to reincorporate Animalism and Protean killing 2 of the TFN disciplines. :(

I do wish that I had the time and inspiration to put back all of the original 7 clans and disciplines but with the new rules and features of TFN. When I created TFN, I was unemployed for 1 year and I worked 40+ hours on it per week for about 8 months so there's no way now that I have a fulltime job to be able to put the time required to restore the original clans and disciplines. :( I agree, it would be super cool though!

I take it this mod does not need the 1.1 or 1.2 patch before I play? And if it doesn't, do you know if it will break the game if I do have them installed? Steam is being bitchy about turning off updates, and I'm just wondering if its worth all the hassle.

You're talking about the official 1.1 or 1.2 patches correct? Not Wesp's patches. In that case you will be fine. TFN already has 1.2 integrated into it so you'd just be overwriting the same files. Go ahead and let Steam do its thing then install TFN on top of it.

No ! Simply NO ! Disciples of set is tolally useless, the game is way too much unbalanced, finishing the game is impossible with my character, first time in all my PT i can't finish the game. Only thing to do with the disciple ? Put all point in ranged, buy the shotgun, the rest is totally useless ! Playing with sword ? Even with 9 you're dealing weak damage ! Palying with fists ? The same, but more excruciating. Obfuscate ? everybody see you in the end ! Serpentis ? Every power are way too weak…
