During a search for a lost girl, two close friends make a shocking discovery. Deep in the thick forests of Sweden, they find a deserted town, with no signs of any life within miles. Just as the two friends are about to leave the town to call the police, they are both dragged into a compelling mystery surrounding the decietful past of the town, Hovgård.
There was a wooden jetty poking pointlessly out into the shallow lake. It might have been a popular fishing spot, long ago. Now, it offered nothing more than splinters and rotting planks. Looking into the still surface of the water the stars, just now emerging above our heads, were brilliantly reflected. The serenity was broken by a sudden gust of wind, causing us to brace ourselves and pull our collars tight. There was no shelter nearby.
