Bull the Aussies, New Zealanders and South Koreans also fought in Vietnam. China also had some involvement and so did the Khmer Rouge and Laotian Guerrillas.

Great beta! Nice to see the Australians in it, and even an Australian AO island! I´ve been trying to re-make the "Battle at Long Tan".

Just a few notes:
The SLR was a single shot weapon, though it could be modified to fire full auto - officers didnt approve of this though. The L2A1 on the other hand was full auto, with a 30 rd mag. It had a heavier barrel and a bipod. The SAS cut down the barrel of the L2A1 and used it as a pointman weapon. Also, the XM148 (grenade launcher) could be attached to the SLR and L2A1.

The Australian soldiers hands are the standard OFP "dirty" ones, and the arms are clean that you have on the model, it looks a bit funny. Also, all Australians were required to have their sleves rolled down on patrol.

Other than that, great mod, i know its a beta, just wanted to point those out. Good luck and im looking forward to the full release!

Yes Stillburger, America has never taken too much credit for any military action now, has it?

The films U-571 (claiming America captured the first Enigma machine), Pearl Harbour (affleck and co in Battle of Britain), The Great Escape (no US prisoners were actually involved) are just a small testement to this.

Give the aussies some credit for once. Just like the Canadians and many other nationalities, they are unsung heroes of many wars and too often are over looked for their part.

Some 59,000 Australians served in Vietnam during the war. So a mod honouring them isn't out of the question.

Lowest Rated (2 agree) 3/10

v1.5, newest release up to date: 3/10. Only because the infantry models are pretty good and original. Rest is the same old stuff (some borrowed, even from OFP), just broken even more than year before...

You let me down once again, Snake Man.
