I added 5 images with RCRN lighting mod activated. It is a good alternative to those not liking the ENB (or ENB in general) or/and can't run it.

Here is a link to where to get RCRN: Rcrncommunity.com

RCRN is a very different look than ENB, and some may prefer it. It also comes with very little performance loss compared to ENB (but it may be system dependent)...compared to my custom ENB (20 FPS outdoors, 30 fps interiors)) to RCRN (30-35 fps, and 60 in interiors)...it is a noticeable increase in FPS on my system for outdoor use.

And I have had no part in making or creating RCRN, it is just my to go to lighting mod if I am not using an ENB.

You can also completely avoid any lighting mod or use any lighting mod you wish and optionally do the FW weather command for ash storms. It will play the mod just fine. :) Just because I use my ENB in screenshots, doesn't mean it is required.

The area around Whiterun in the original release was horrid and I am sorry for uploading it like that. The repeated cloned cracks looked far worse than I expected. In replace, I changed it to desolate ash.

Now around Whiterun, it looks desolate and barren. It is a vast improvement.

I have also added new textures elsewhere, and replaced previous textures to make them look better.

A vast improvement and hope you all like the update. :)

Thought I'd give you guys an update.

Progress has been made, and I ended up re-doing a lot of things and adding A LOT of gameplay elements.

Its all backed up, nice and save.

With that said...I won't be making much progress for a while. A lot of my hardware on my PC is failing...I can upgrade everything next month, but I won't be working on this due to college+family marriages coming up. And I needed to get an extra job to pay for it all (PC+flights/travel costs).

This won't be abandoned, but will be put on hold. And I'll work on it as I get free time.

I think i found a good optional addon for your Mod
Maybe you can make a Wet and Cold patch for the base mod and the Dragonborn addon. Like adding some of the screeneffects and items from Solstheim to Skyrim or something like that

Hotfix is uploaded. Should be the only bug left that was left to fix, except I still have to test the aspen leaves to make sure I fixed them.

When I upload the next major update, if everything is fixed. I will include it all in one main file (while including it in a separate update so people who already downloaded, don't have to again).

The next update, will go away from textures and lighting. There isn't anything left I'd want to change as of now. That part is rather finished. Except additional effects, but I'd rather move on to actual content.

I'm going to focus on actually adding things as I originally planned. However, this update may take a while. To start with, since I do better doing smaller bits at a time...I'll add a ruined village/city in a spot I think makes sense. A city would definitely be really cool and worth the time to take. More interesting than something small. I'll add monsters to it (from original game so no extra mods are required), and add secrets to find. :)

Once that is done, I'll upload it as a major release.

That looks like artifacts from the video card. Anyone else seen this? Because I have been a lot of places and have not.

Seen those around Riverwood, fast traveled to Windhelm and ran around without noticing any graphic bugs. And btw I somehow get 30-40 Fps Outdoor's and 40-50 Fps Indoor's with the ENB now (increase since the older ENB Version) o.O

I think the root's that hang out somehow messed up with the Patch O.o

I also got this in area around Whietrun. Looks like it has something to do with this small cliff model
