The VRE (valve racing experience) offers players to race as their favourite valve characters online these characters also have their own vehicles and the list of characters will grow as valve bring out more games. The whole idea of this came from the popular game Gran Turismo 5 and we are currently working on making a professional stand alone game. The game is being aimed at having a large amount of content as explained before there are many characters in the valve world and we will start of small and build on it. The whole game is based around valve content so don't be surprised to see older characters in the game such as half life 1 characters. Each track will be made around a specific game such as a left 4 dead, half life and team fortress 2 track there will be more and the tracks are not aimed specifically at maps but more of the feel of each game such as textures etc. If you are interested in this and want to join add me on steam JustinTheEnd
This menu is where you select your character after selecting the game this is just one example of the other menu's the characters are not confirmed so don't hold your breath however we will be most likely using the grunt the characters are placed by their latest game this is the reasoning of why Gordon and Barney aren't here.
We need Ivan the Space Biker! That would be an awesome Easter egg. His kart would (obviously) be some sort of futuristic motorbike.
