UT40K: The Chosen Although 40K players and other Mod Teams may not have herd about us, we have in fact been going on, for quite a while. The fact that a ModDB page was never set up for us has only just been brought to light. We are a small but dedicated team, devoted to bringing the universe of Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000 to it's full glory, using the UT3 engine. While we have been toiling in the shadows, we have actually managed to release a Number of Public Betas over the last year and improve on them with each upgrade. We are devoted to remaining as close to the publish code rules as we possibly can, to the point where we have implemented both the JAM system, for the Terminator Assault Cannon, and a fully functional vehicle damage system, complete with Front, Side and Rear armour values and features all of the ways of disabling a vehicle (e.g. Crew Stunned, Weapon Destroyed, Immobilised and all the others) We have two mostly functional races available; The Imperium's...

I don see why not, but this model is just awful! I could probably do better, and I've never done character modelling before (I have done other types of 3D modelling though so I don't speak from complete ignorance)

or at least close to it, since orks have a tons of armor and weapons hanging off of them, and if it's an ork boy they don't have as much armor as the one u showed, i think that was a warboss or a ork nob.

w00t? Orks are smaller than marines, although not much... Go to games workshop and look at the rl-marine there to get a reference. And yea that one needs a bit more gear :D

The head looks awful. And maybe you should give him a bit more muscles. And a proper looking neck, not just an extension of his bottom jaw that stretches unto his shoulders.

as a constructive critique, (I play, the table top game, dawn of war 1&2 and am a 3D modeler) the neck extends straight into the head where the chin should be. Pull back the head towards the torso a bit more, and scale down the geometry used for the neck a bit. As others have stated, the classic ork is very bulky in the arms and upper body. Give him some more forearm and bicep mass. Also try to pull the lower jaw out and pull some tusks up. Orks tend to have extreme under bites.

The clothing is a bit off too. He looks like he is wearing ugs or something. Harder edged soles like the chaos and space marine boots would give a more realistic look. Also ears, even if just textured on instead of modeled would go a long way as well. I am not trying to sound condescending, nor am i complaining, merely giving a perspective view
