UT Space Battle is a game mod for UT3 and UT2004 which comprises a space combat simulation which aims primarily to explore innovative game play through the use of unconventional aspects that distinguish it from existing shooters and strategy games. Gamplay for both UT2004 and UT3 is the same, with only graphical differences. The mod is still in alpha stage and currently does not have much in the way of polish or documentation. However, it is functional and may be of interest to those wishing to follow the progress of the mod. Because it is in alpha stage there may be bugs cropping up in each new release and game balance may shift from release to release. See also the UT2004 page for UT2004 specific media.

The Make Something Unreal Contest is a great contest that gets modders all around the globe coming together to put their skills to work for some serious prizes and notoriety, all using the Unreal Engine. Damn.. guessing this wont be available for PS3 users of UT3 then?
I would like to provide compatibility with PS3 but it is not a priority at this stage of development, and I do not own a PS3 which would be required for testing. PS3 support is on the "wishlist" of features I would like to have eventually.

I was really disappointed when I played UT3 and realised that they completely left out space battles. But this is exactly the mod I was waiting to come! Keep it up guys, it looks really promising!
