Uplink: Source is a total remake of the Half-Life demo : Uplink. The main goal of this mod is to remake from A to Z this game in order to get all the advantages of the Source Engine developped for Half-Life 2.
Total remake of:
Story:
The player takes control of Gordon Freeman 48 hours after the "containment failure," according to a caption. A scientist and a security guard wish to enter the Lambda complex and escape, but they cannot open the reactor door until a signal is sent to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC), and the radio antenna must be reconfigured manually. To this end, they enlist the player's aid, sending him through an area heavily populated with military personnel and Vortigaunts; having reconfigured the antenna, the player must navigate through an underground maze populated by headcrabs and zombies.
Arriving back at the starting point, the player passes through the previous area, fighting against headcrabs, zombies, and now houndeyes, only to become trapped in a large room with a Gargantua, which proceeds to kill everyone there before homing in on the player. The G-Man is seen watching from a window high on the wall. The screen then fades to black, accompanied by the caption: Current evaluation: uplink completed. Require further data.
Require further data". (Bilan : liaison établie. En attente d'autres données.)

Here is the second Media Release !
In spite of the re-entry at the beginning of September which slows us down somewhat, we nevertheless succeed in finding a little time to continue the MOD. And it is far from having died !!
Indeed, as you all awaited it here (one requests every evening so that that is the case) the new media is out.
With the program: 4 new screens of the first part of the game (b0a1) by Frere d'Arme and ... the new soundtrack !!!
This soundtrack was entirely made by Jon Adamich (Phoenix85), we really hope you'll feel as good as we did !
You can listen to it without downloading it directly from our web site.
Good listening and do not forget to come and post on our forum to give us your opinions and ideas !
This ZIP packages contains all of the 8 tracks of the Uplink Source soundtrack
Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the Mod DB community today (totally free) and do things you never thought possible.
One media for 6 month of development, is bad.
Either that or they're too damned busy mapping to take screenshots.
Who are you?
Tell precisely and clearly - all of you still work above mod????
Yes, we are working for the mod
Good Luck at Work! We support you!
*the higher comments is mistake...sorry*
Uplink demo => http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife_Uplink_Demo;80454
Yes, and I think he talked about the original demo (the real Half Life demo). I reallt agree with you Mat, and we are not dead, that's just we don't have much time, but when we have ideas, we share it.
That is an old release, currently the mod does not even resemble that alpha, as that was made under an old leader...
Do no download
Frere d'arme grow up...
Demo = mod completed by Frere D'Arme for Public, version 0.0.8, and now the mod still alive or dead, i don't know.
