The Unexpected End is a Hl2 ep2 mod about a person whoes brother is taken by combine. And your mission to get your brother back ...
So you are a safe person and you really scared of combine but your brother is in resistance and fighting against combine ...And he is kidnapped by combine and tortured him to death so he would tell some secret attacks rebels plan.While he is torturing you sit in your house (which you closed doors , windows etc.) and wait for your endless sleep. But you cant just sit there you need to do some think! But remember the end is unexpected !
Unexpected end is a hl2 ep2 -orange box- based mod so you need at least ep2 to play this mod . Unexpected end will offer some new models (actually 1 or 2) and some new textures ... H.E.V suit is only can use by gordon freeman so we will get our good old friend from an abandoned lab under the name and model combine suit ... This suit has same features with H.E.V suit but it is taken from combine ... also we will have some new hand skins (video is includes in media section) ...
This is our first project so it will not going to be proffessional job.

Now we think that there is only 1 known HEV suit which is used by freeman and what should our hero wear ? That i say it can be a suit which is taken from combine and modified ... Now we have got our combine suit model (thanks burak575 for helping with model and writing qc file) and a combine hands skin to fit with suit (made by me) ... Also i am thinking to modify our psitol to make it black style.

I have played this mod and trust me when I say its not the best. Various sections have been left incomplete in the early version and the ending had no intriguing complexities(Like the player being incapacitated or stunned by a weapon of sorts) and left alot of unanswered questions. There were sections where the car was needed that wasnt obvious. So from my standing point: The maps need to complete with skyboxes and complete buildings; layouts could be more open with chest-high walls to provide some cover when taking fire; some actual challenge(Meaning that you have to solve some problem like opening a door and not "Kill all targets to move on"); and possibly some weapons to add to the list. Oh and the fly-by camera lags abit. With some props, expanded areas, a few puzzles, not the Portal kind that blows your brain apart, and some weapons would brighten it up a bit. And for the rest of you who are about to say, "Its a good mod, why should they listen to you?" One, Look at my name. Im a Critic. Two, I have played the earlier version and it wasnt all that great. Three: saying that I cant see a good mod dont make you right at all. I gave my points, its not to sound a bit of a jack hole, but Im a critic and thats what I do. Dont take it personally.
