The Focus of UEAW is to bring the eras, or periods of time, to the game that were not in the original release of Empire at War. The Mod will include new heroes, units, buildings, technologies, planets and weapons. Players will have a chance to take control of the dark side or light side in a galactic campaign in each era, as well as the ability to train the sith as the dark side, or jedis as the light side. The Ultimate Empire at War campaign will also be available, which is a Galactic Campaign that spans every era of time in the mod, covering all material, units and heroes in the mod.. The Eras:
The Old Republic (25,000 BBY - 1,000 BBY) The two major forces in the galaxy during this time were the Republic and the Sith. Players choosing the Dark Side will follow the sith throughout the Old Republic Era, while users choosing the Light Side will control the Old Republic.
Rise of the Empire (1,000 BBY - 0 BBY) The Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems were the two major forces that UEAW is covering. Depending on which side of the force you are on , you will control the Galactic Republic or the CoIS.
Rebellion (0 BBY - 4 ABY) The Rebellion Era, although already covered in the game, will also be included in UEAW. The Rebellion and Imperials will be the two major powers during this time that player will take control of.
New Republic Era ( 5 ABY - 25 ABY) During this period of time after the Rebellion, the New Republic takes over from the Rebellion, while the Imperial Remnants is the faction that opposes them.
The Ultimate Empire at War Campaign
The Ultimate Empire at War Galactic Campaign is a massive camapign that spans all eras of time covered in the mod. Players will choose a side (Dark Side, Light Side) and will follow the respective paths of the Dark and Light Sides of the force throughout time. Each era will bring new weapons, technologies, heroes, units and planets, allowing the player to create bigger and more advanced armies and control more powerful heroes. Lead either the Dark Side or the Light Side of the force to the ultimate victory in the galaxy and the annialation of the opposing side.

Here are some new renders of the latest models we've been working on, however don't be fooled, we have twice the amount of these rendered models that still need to be rendered, as well as some new skinned units that are begging to be shown. Since we last gave you an update, we've been extremely busy, modeling, skinning, coding and putting models into the game with death clones (death animations). Look out for a movie sometime next week with some footage of the new death clones we've been working on.

Alot of new renders have been posted. Apologies on my part for not updating sooner, but atleast they are up now.
The Ultimate Empire at War (UEAW) MOD team is recruiting a Texture Artist to complete the team. We are currently attempting to complete a new version of the MOD. Our very capable Texture Artist is overwhelmed with too many 3d models. We currently have three modelers sending models his way.
Texturing experience that we are looking for:
Bump Mapping
Multi-layering textures in PhotoShop
Creating seamless textures
UV unwrapping and mapping
Realistic texturing in various styles on low to medium poly models
3d model editing ability, & working with a teamwork frame of mind are a great plus

Ultimate EAW is a modification for Star Wars: Empire at War with over 12,000 downloads, and over 1,130 registered users, and growing fast. This mod is going to be appearing in the June 2006 issue of PC PowerPlay Magazine, and on their DVD for review.
the new units will be in the full version of the game. We have to wait for mod tools in order to convert models into a useable format for the game.

samtheauburnfan: the allegiance star destroyer is not available in the beta, it will be in the full release. The executor is available in the beta, however it is the beta version. Since official mod tools haven't been released, putting new models into the game is currently impossible.
The jedi cruisers should be available at tech 2 with a level 2 starbase with the rebels. It's ship-class is the venator. And yes, the executor, for now, is just a larger star destroyer. We figured you'd like to play around with a beta version of it until the full mod is released.
sath: yes, we will be using the tripod turret. I should have been more specific when I said ramming. I meant that ships can ram other ships (the eclispse super star destroyer was built with this in mind), but also that when ships collide, they will cause damage to each other.
That's a very good point, one that we have been discussing. Currently, we are planning for a way to build a the executor seperately, however when darth vader and the SSD are together in a fleet, he will be commanding the executor and will give it a hero bonus.
The number of SSDs that can be built may be limited to 1 for each variant, however many different executor-class SSDs were built (Reaper, Terror, Guardian, Vengeance, Aggressor, Iron Fist, Lusankya, Knight Hammer, Intimidator and the Razor Kiss.), so we'll have to look into making an exception for the Executor class. Currently we have the Executor and Eclipse class super star destroyers planned for the mod.

how do you get the jedi cruisers and stuff?
i haven't seen any and i'm tech 5 on rebels
and the allengience destroyers/heavy destroyers
and is the executer supposed to look like a lager star destroyer?
