Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.

Really it is not a Victory I, it is a II.

No, it's a Victory I. Notice the open atmospheric wings (hollow between them for air flow) and also on other images it has TWO engines as opposed to the three of the Victory II.

Also different from ISD; apart from wings, also bridge structure. As is canon.

The problem is it's difficult to call the difference between the I and II. And, for that matter, the difference between the Imperial Class hull and the Victory Class hull. The schematics for the Victory Class are basically a slightly modified Imperial Class hull. I think your view of what the difference between the classes is has been decided by evillejedi's models. A Victory I doesn't have to have open atmospheric manoeuvring surfaces (or wings, and timstro called them) it just has to have them, and the modified bridge. In fact, evillejedi's Victory I model, with concussion missile tubes along those surfaces, is quite possibly wrong. I have not seen any images that show those on the Victory I.

There has been much debate about the wing surfaces. Really wings wouldn't make a difference since they couldn't possibly provide enough lift to keep it off the ground, repulsorlift would have to be used. The difference between the two as I understand it is that the Victory I had concussion missiles (I don't think it's ever been stated where those are exactly) while the Victory II had ion cannons and was an improved design. Both VI and IIs could enter atmosphere. In games the same model has been used for both ships, but that may be due to laziness.

The wings were never for lift. With repulsors, they aided the manoeuvrability in-atmosphere.
