Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.

God damn the effects are really stunning. Projectiles, the incredible skydome, the engine glow and the shield impact is really amazing. Respect!

Wow, very impressive effects. It begs the question of why didn't LucasArts make it this good in the Vanilla game?

because companies are generally lazy and want to just put out enough to get people interested. then there's people like us, who put our heart and soul into it and make it look stunning. although once The Old Republic comes out, i maybe forced to retract that statement on the grounds of "overwhelming awesomeness"... which is the current rating held by this.

What's with the bright band along the skybox? I've seen a glitchy shadow that caused something like that before, is one of your ships doing that?

No - it's the 0 plane on the z axis; the plane on which the reinforcement grid is displayed. Past the playable limits of EaW maps that overlay is displayed except in cinematic mode; and since this wasn't taken in cinematic mode...

Description

A couple of screenshots from my work recently balancing in E3 (Galactic Civil War). There are many more available via our Twitter account (@UEaW), where media is posted on a more casual basis than Moddb.

The GUI is placeholder, new GUI is still in pipeline.
