The Ultimate Core Defender mod adds a significant amount to your arsenal. It features new and more powerful units, special buildings, and faster build times. Most of all, the Core Defender is at your disposal. It is the ultimate, almost-invincible, superweapon you have. The Drop Pod special, the Ion Cannon, and the Cluster missile is now available for both factions. Characters like Umagon, Ghost Stalker, Tratos, and Slavick are also playable. The Tomahawk Missile automatically hunts down your prey. The Tiberian fiend is capable of fending of a group of infantry. The Cyborg Commando can destroy almost any unit. The Assassin can sneak up into enemy lines and kill enemies stealthily. Naval vessels are also available to you so you can extend the battlefield into the sea.
