A great update with advanced ragdolling for all weapons,no more cinematic deaths. I have tried to make it all as realistic as possible. More changes have...
-Improved Body gibbing effect, added models and blood spray, added "disable mature content" function to gibbing (cg_mature "0" means no gibbing and blood).
-Edited blood effects, more blood spray instead of giant splatters.
-Improved tracers, fx more stable now.Also added tracers to the firstperson "Hind Streak" view.
-Created a custom Grim Reaper incendiary explosion effect, based on watching an old instruction video.
-You now have visor-helmet view with the Hind Perk, instead of the reticle, about the same as the Valkyri Rocket cam.
-Added the possibilty to play team matches with 0 friends against max. 15 enemy bots (Teambalance and Teamchange will be Disabled and Radar will be forced active).
-Added a modified green uniform / viewmodel skin to the speznats, for uniform diversity, they are in the mp_uct_Uniforms.iwd file, remove the file if you dont like them.
-Added "black ops" default skin for the FNFAL and M14 rifles, I have always hated the default FNFAL skin as we used a fully black FNFAL while I was in the Royal Dutch Army (1993-1996).During that period the rifle was replaced with the Canadian Dimaco C7 (Colt Canada C7).
-Different skins for huey`s; The green Marines skin for allies and light camo for axis, the two highest resolution skins.
-Adjusted "bullet" ragdoll settings.Also reinstalled animated deaths.Created a (menu) option to choose Disable, Shared (50% chance) or All "bullet" ragdolls (default = All).I know some of you really dont like ragdolling but I have done my very best to make the deaths look as human as possible.Bullet ragdoll deaths are very random in behaviour, dolls can just fall where they stand or make some kind of impact movement.Explosive weapons such as the RPG, Sticky Grenade or Mortar Strike and extreme guns such as the Cobra and Hind always do ragdolling / gibbing.Gore and extreme ragdolling all really starts with heavier calibers such as the 20mm Cobra cannon followed by explosive damages.
-Flak jacket perk tweaked to protect against only the weaker explosive weapons, not weapons like a Mortar Strike or exploding incendiary weapons.
-Added the Willy Pete to the Gun Game loadout, so you will demote players with the Tomahawk, Melee Knife and Willy Pete.
-Decreased the SR-71 altitude, shooting it down was a little too hard.Also changed the amount of SR-71 decoys to only one.
-Shooting down the SR-71 gives its personal amount of xp points, altough you will still see the Longshot Medal.
-Overhauled the Hind and Cobra heavy machine guns, damage and sounds.As these are very heavy bullets, they will cause a lot of gore.The Huey spawned by bots under the attack helicopter perk has the correct fire sounds and the attack helicopter perk Cobra and Hind have heavier minigun sounds.
-Fixed default dvars not loading properly.Also created button assignment options for this in the Misc Controls menu, there is server.cfg file for you to edit, load and restart your personal server with it.If you want to edit and load the server.cfg file, load a level, hit the load server.cfg button, then hit the reload server button and your vars will be loaded.First load a level, press the "LOAD SETTINGS" button and then the "RESTART SERVER" button and your settings are loaded.
-Removed as many unneeded weapon files as possible to assure the mod working for loading all levels (exceeded limit of...).The only level giving me problems is the Hangar 18 dlc level, if someone else has it with another level, I`d love to hear about it.
Known bugs;-The most infamous bugs are the crash while loading a level bugs stating something has "exceeded".I really dont know why this happens and how it could be fixed.It has something to do with the game, mod tools or both.All I have learned (not experienced) is that checking the game`s integrity on steam should help in some cases.The only level giving me problems is the Hangar 18 dlc level, if someone else has it with another level, I`d love to hear about it.
-The gibbing effect can also happen when you hit a player with a grenade at close range.So no explosion but the player gibs anyway.Been trying constantly to fix this, no luck yet.Any help from the community is welcome :)
-I want to change the main menu theme, cant get it to work, any help / advise is welcome.
