These bad boys will be featured for most other races. For now, Imperial Guard only has these tank traps (and pretty much all other new concept) as we are in testing phases for 1.72.
What does a tank trap do that a wall doesn't?
Besides trapping tanks, of course.
I'm leaving that for the players to figure it out.
Does that mean we have to drive our tanks over them to find out?
Because if so I sure would not want to be the tanker doing that job...

well seems how forge world doesnt recognize a huge portion of them same with gw 90% of all VDR arent playable nor do people see them as really or template or prototype designs this mod should stick with things that are actually in the warhammer 40k universe not fan-made
Ouch that kills the tau titan, tau super heavies and a few dark eldar units, Harlequins, some guard tanks, So much it is unbelievable.
If that was the ideology, space crusade wouldn't of been made over 20 years ago. And with that genestealers wouldn't of had scythes replacing claws. As that was the first place genestealers with scythes were seen first.
I'm moving away from the GW codified psychosis....
Because as was seen 20 years ago, creativity adding to the current 40k universe we have today. :) Just one example.
We wouldn't have the splendid dark heresy, or any RP.
We wouldn't have a pc game.
We wouldn't have BFG.
Stifle creativity within rules and model developers will leave or lock models down to their own mods for financial benefit.
Release creativity and you get a much richer, "Easter Egg" filled environment. :)

I'm just in love with RT2's work, even though some things are not sticking out to others, but I hate to see his stuff go to waste by players going fully by Forgeworld units.
I do really like RT2's work and none of his creations should be wasted. The best solution to please Forgeworld worshippers and content hungry freaks would be to seek for FW units firstly if there is a need of, for example IG heavies than would be nice to firstly use the unused yet Banehammer intead of creating own unit. But it is just a suggestion :p i will accept whatever is the emperors will.. ohh i mean Lord Doofus and Rt2's XD
Vehicle control is good, just like walls are infantry control.
Did you think about the razor wire i sent you a while ago?
tank traps... a structure which produces heavy-cover in a very small radius around them, is not automatically targeted by the attack move command, cheap and quick to produce (conscripts should be able to build them at least), and hinders the movement of all vehicles... Cannot be repaired by techpriests (no machine spirit)
