These shields were rather present in the early Alphas of the Grand Release. The new shields which you all know of are a lot better looking, however, they apparently shrink for some unknown reason, and that breaks the immersion of the mod slightly.
So let's have a vote.

Fixing a 360* Void Shield look in this mod without shrinking all the time is impossible and I am sorry. :(

Do they shrink to the point where you can't even tell if they're on? Because if so then you should stick to the "ok and working ones"

Do you have any screenshots of how it looks like in-game? I added karma to the good looking ones, but if they can't be noticed, I'm with R3PT0R.
How long does it take for a 3d shield to shrink to a point of looking ugly? :p

But if you can't see the void shield, how are you supposed to know if it's even on? How will you know when your opponents shields are down? I don't see the point in a pretty shield which I can't even see. I don't think the people that have voted for it realise that it doesn't get smaller, it's actually not there.
this one seems too technological, and the old one seems a little magical... On thought of just art concept, the old one is better. But the old one is not event linked with the entity, so when titans move the FX does not move together.
Maybe it suits XV202 better, for it is Tau style shield
I've played UA with both the void shields in the image and the ones currently in the mod, and personally I prefer the newer ones, bug and everything.
Why? Well while the others were completely reliable size-wise (they never changed size incorrectly), they looked... like if they were incorrectly layered.
Like a 2D sprite on a 3D game :/
For that reason mostly, I prefer the new, fancy, buggy shields. If the "layering" issue was addressed however, I'd choose the older shields any day.
I will redo this vote then in the future with precise detail about both. :)
what about keeping the non buggy ones and rework their texture to make them more fancy? sure, they will unfortunately stay 2D :(
