I'm making this thread because I feel that the Ork race doesn't quite get the same level of attention as the other races seem to, at least in terms of new units/upgrades anyway. For example, they're missing a lot of things from the actual tabletop. I understand that creating new models and animations isn't something that happens too often, and balance is obviously a concern, but I want to throw these ideas out there anyway.

Let's start with some of the missing units. Ork Warbikers. Every other race has their biker units implemented, but why not Orks? Maybe they could be available from Da' Boyz Hut as an early scouting/harassing unit. Deffkoptaz. These would serve a similar purpose to the Warbikers, but as a flying unit available later on. Upgradable with Rokkits for more Anti-Vehicle/Structure capabilities. Dakkajet. This would be available alongside the Fighta' Bomma' We currently have, but would be a much more Anit-Infantry variant. The Burna-Bommer and Blitza-Bommer may not be necessary due to the units we currently have. Mek Gunz' and their upgrades/variants. Would be a stronger/higher tier version of what the Grot Gang can currently upgrade with. Gork/Morkanaut. These wouldn't be as strong as a Stompa', but cheaper/more numerous. I think that's it for new units.

Now onto improvements/additions for existing Ork units. The Big Mek commander lacks a lot of upgrades/wargear options that the tabletop counterpart has. He needs Kombi Weapons (which the Ork race seems to lack in general), Shokk Attack Gun, Mega Armor etc. The Warboss is fine as is, though it would be cool if he started as a normal looking Ork Warboss, but transitioned into his current appearence as he's upgraded with wargear. Burna-Boyz and Lootas Should have a Mek squad leader with appropriate weapon upgrades. Nobz are missing a bit too. They need their Big Choppas, Power Klaw (weapon upgrade, rather than research) and Kombi-weapons. Waaagh! Banners would also be nice (squad buff). Meganobz are also missing some weapon upgrades. The Trukk should be able to upgrade with a Rokkit Launcha' to allow it to take on some early vehicles from the other races.

I think that's everything that I can think of right now. Feel free to add your own suggestions to this thread, or even criticize my suggestions.

Yes i agree, i also would like to see Mega Dreads added in as well, to counter Venerable Dreadnoughts and Defilers, as the Orks only have Killa kans and deff dreads.

in fact i would like to see the Multi-Armed Deff dreads added in to replace the boring design of the original model.

Orks are also the only race (i Think) that does not have any artillery. and yes, i already know about the gun wagons however, their range is hardly even close to Other Races Artillery.

Also i Feel as though Gargantuan Squiggoths Should be re added to the game as they were pretty useful in Titanium Wars.

Another thing, i REALLY want Gorkanauts/Morkanauts i feel as though they would be Pretty useful as well as just being Cool in General.

Orks are Seriously Lacking in Anti Air so i think Flakka Trukks would be a Good Addition.

I just thought of a way Gorkanauts or Morkanauts could be Added in, If Modeling is a Problem then the developers could just use the models from Freeblade right?

Same with all the other stuff from Freeblade like Mega Dreads and Greater Brass Scorpions etc

Plus they come with all the animations too.

I d like to see in mod some more ork units.

Kustom mega blasta upgrade for kommandoz,lootaz and flash gitz.

Mega dread or Gorkanaut/Morkanaut as elite walkers.

Orks are missing some anti-air units,so it will be good to add flakka-trakk or even better a trukk,equipped with traktor cannon.

More Mek gunz(traktor,smasha,kustom mega cannon,bubblechukka) as vehicles and infantry upgrades.

Lifta-droppa if it is could be realised in game.

Dakkajet and Wazmob Blastajet for aircraft.

Big trakk with supa-cannon as an artillery unit.

Skullhamma Battlefortress-a Baneblade-like Battlefortress for orks.

And for titans......How about an Orkeosuarus,the biggest Squiggoth?

"And for titans..." I posted this in another thread but why not a Mega Gargant? The Imperator Titan needs a worthy opponent :)
