I am installing the new 1.73 and .4 patch and after doing so when I launch the game all the intro clips play and I get to the UA splash screen the game closes. I am using Steam and after trying to get it to run I have installed a fresh clean download of Soulstorm. Then installed the mod using the 1.73 installer and then unzipped the .4 patch into the directory. steamapps\commen\Dawn of War SoulstormIs anyone else having this issue?Thanks for your help. |

What mods did you install to attempt to make UA mod work? Read installation instructions also if you haven't. |

After reading the how to I found that I was missing the Teranids mod, I did not install it at first thinking that it had been rolled into the main mod. An suggestion, the instructions are buried pretty deep in the documentation. Maybe update the main page with that little note you made about what order to install the files. Of course I don't know if it really is a problem for most people but there is a lot to read though to find the little bit you need. Thank you for your help Edited by: CrazyVulcan |

Hello, My game also crashes on the splash screen. So I'll go over my install:
At first my soulstorm complained about the Simengine.dll (something @world @... launch problem). So I swapped the Simengine.dll from 2014 to one from 2008. Then I was able to launch the game, once i reach the loading screen that reads "ultimate apocalypse" it crashes to desktop. Did I do something wrong? I used the mods from the links that the 1.73 installer provided me. |

Not sure what that one is, but your setup looks fine, unless you encountered any extraction errors... |

It was a fluke, I guess I messed up something the first time, I reinstalled, didn't encounter the dll problems and everything works perfect! |
