Hello.
I've noticed that some of the land raiders lack a good role as what they are supposed to fill and I'd like to suggest some changes on some of them, but I will still list all of them as a reference.

Land Raider Phobos: Good as it is. Very good early relic anti-armor tank.

Land Raider Crusader: Works good against infantry, doesn't need any changes.

Land Raider Redeemer: This one could use some work. It somewhat overlaps with the crusader as a anti-infantry, but I think it would work better if it was
reworked torwards being anti-morale and -structure and less anti-infantry side.

Land Raider Helios: Long range heavy artillery tank. Maybe could use a little bit more range, but it will still work fine as infantry disruption. Still good as it is.

Land Raider Prometheus: This one is the odd ball. I am not sure why it is even there. It is worse than every other land raider in pretty much every way. The only thing it has going on for it, is increased sight radius and little bit cheaper cost. Either one of those doesn't make it any useful, you might as well wait for a few more second to afford a better land raider and the sight radius usually is a none issue because you usually have built deepstrike beacons before you even have access to land raiders. Even then, the beacons aren't far behind to be built.
I've been thinking that maybe it should have a command aura to increase nearby infantry units morale and maybe help them regain it a bit faster or attack bonus aura to boost damage and accuracy or maybe both auras. That way it would be a worthwile investment and it would have it's own role as a unit support.

One last thing, the unit description on the land raiders say that they all have unit carrying capacity of two, when they actually have it at three. So that would need some fixing too.

Thanks for reading and have a good day.

Actually I just had an epiphany the other day while playing as Space Marines. How bout instead of a bunch of different Land Raiders just have one that you upgrade it's weapons to the loadout you want like the Leman Russ Murderer. Just a thought and would allow players to use their own preferences on Land Raiders, not sure if it will work in the engine as though I have taken a few peeks under the hood I'm not as proficient as I would like with it.

@kealoz: currently not all land raider variants are on the same model (unlike the leman russ variants) which means simple weapon upgrades can't do what you suggest. In theory all land raider variants could be merged in a single model but in practice it is extremely unlinkely to happen (some have significant differences 3d wise which would not make them easy to merge). After all the modelers in the community are few and the merge would require significant work on the model along with the coding from scratch of this new model in object editor.

Apparently people don't like me :(
Is it because i was tainted by Chaos? Cause I already born that way...

I myself prefer it to be separate because in tabletop the units come preset and I can never remember well the exact configurations to each unit so I wouldn't be able to faithfully recreate them if I was offered a customizable land raider.
