Strange ai behaviour after this, the daemons seemed gimped, and don't build angron or high tier units at all, at least the last 5 matches i played against and with them.

I have one request though, is it possible for you guys to enable players to choose their starting positions in skirmish and online? At the moment, starting positions are fixed based on the map, or random.

Updated to latest patch. Played a game last night with 2 players vs AI Necrons and AI deamons. The game crashed with Fatal AI error. Would the warning log be helpful in seeing what caused the crash?
ummm...i tried installing it but it's telling me that the file is compressed into a zip and it wont allow me to open it...says it's invalid. da hell do i do?
I've had this problem for a while now and I have no idea what to do to fix it. When ever my units, whether their a melee squad or forced into melee, melee another squad I lose control of them. Like, if i want them to run away they will start moving that direction but then immediately turn around. I usually can counter this by using the "move here" button thats provided but i dont want to have to do this every time i need to get a squad out of a fight. I'm sorry im not good at explaining this lol. If needed i can try and provide a screen shot or what ever it is you need. Thank you. (edit: i am sorry i always forget there is a bug page. I will move this there.)
this is the first time i ve downloaded the mod and i downloaded this version, when i install and run it just plays the vanilla soulstorm, do i need another version or am i installing it incorrectly? i have the steam version
Yeah, because this is just a patch for the main game. If you look in the downloads page there was UA 1.7 and then its various patches and now there is 1.8 (The Hunt Begins) with all of its patches. You only need to download the latest patch though.
I used to love this game, I play Tau and a friend of mine plays Necrons. I don't understand some of the choices the devs have done : we used to have fun playing against insane AI and now we get destroyed by Harder. It has been a couple months since we didn't play but we just got RAPED by IG and Eldar. IG had more range than my fire warriors with their grenade launchers (or mortars, whatever) and destroyed my squishy useless troops from the fog of war, while necrons couldn't do **** against the eldar troops (necrons do no damage anymore until late late game - where they've basically won if they survived till then in the first place). I asked many times for an "artillery restriction" game option - which shouldn't be difficult to implement - since EVERY artillery in the game is a ******* fun-killing pain in the *** to deal with. I don't know where I'm going with this comment nor do I think it is constructive but I just lost a couple games and it is extremely frustrating.
Last thing : WHAT is the ******* point of being STEALTHED if EVERYTHING can detect you ??? This stealth mechanic is ridiculous.

Dark Eldar AI still crashes the game. Good job on fixing the Daemons though.
