Twisted Insurrection is a critically acclaimed, standalone modification based on the Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ engine. It features a complete redesign of the original game, set in an alternate "what-if?" timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod was victorious during the first Tiberian War. Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.

Though, this does remind me: What are the odds of a 'defensive' game mode that's more how long are you going to play "My Little War Base" rather than "How many waves of nasties can you live through before your imminent defeat?"

Nice idea. :)

"Tiberian Sun Retro" also has buildable lightposts and watchtowers, which can be quite useful when playing on very dark maps. TSR features a very dark snow theater map but I forgot its name.

nice, tho i would like it for the stuff to serve as a buff to your base in some way. didnt the original version of tib sun (before release) have watch towers that would boost the damage dealt on the units they targeted

also what if the supply creates could give rate of fire boosts to units in the vicinity?

or buff whatever structure they were placed next to?

- Do you like going the extra mile with building your bases? We've got you covered with the new "Base Props" option which enables some additional non-mandatory structures such as light posts and spotlight towers.

This option was implemented with the decorative base building players in mind, these miscellaneous structures don't serve any real purpose, they're just there to look nice, however, Spotlight Towers have been altered to be equipped with some short range sensors to detect cloaked units, just to give them a little bit of a tactical usage.

Don't care for the option? Simply don't enable it. It is off by default. :)

Will we have the ability to make 1x1 tiles of pavement?

Yeah, in this option there will be 1x1 and 4x4 pavement tiles to choose from.

Not as of yet, I'll look into making some custom light-posts that fit GDI and Nod's structural theme, the same for Spotlight Towers.

I don't think there's a reliable way at all to "Build" a Terrain Deformation. It's possible but it might not work right purely because of how TS' RNG works.

Well we had prototype "Bulldozers" in Twisted Insurrection for the purpose of flattening terrain, however while it dermored and flattened terrain as planned, it could also make things a lot worse accidentally so we just decided to part with the logic, which is too bad.

There was a vehicle for that purpose in Ultima mod if i remember right. You could accidentally deform the terrain in an irreversible way.

I'm sure it was asked already, but are you going to make a new model for the construction yard and repair pad?

Wow! Awesome! I remember myself when I was a kid always played the night maps because I got those nice looking street lights around my base.

Now I got an awesome base AND even more awesome light towers! Whoa! :) :) :) I LOVE it!

I just this function because it is more practical now to build a decorative combat base! It's like a art!

Make sure you put the explosive fuel and ammunition crates right next to the power plants. They look so nice there.

I want to be able to build civilian structures, like militaristic ones not just simple subterranean structures. Like I was playing a map and I saw a building that was a stripped down Construction Yard, was called a hangar in game. I want buildings like that because being able to build sandbags, light posts, and guard towers is great, but I want more.

Not to say I don't think this is amazing, TI is just.... amazing XD
