Is it going to fire something more along the lines of an actual RPG in this, or still gonna lob a projectile?

I was always under the impression the RPG tower was originally supposed to serve the anti-armor and anti-air function like the old advanced guard tower, hence the name.

i thought the same, i hope it can work as a really basic AA like the mammy tusks in RA1 (the tusks may have been crap but in times of need they were better than nothing).

At the moment it still lobs a projectile, but I'm going to be playing with the weapon and see if I can come up with something a bit more unique for a base defense.

amazing o.O i love the way they look now... i have a question... when u upgrade them, are they changing look or still look the same? cuz it says RPG upgrade is giving dual RPG so how it works? it would be nice if they change look so u can see on enemy if they are upgraded or not...

Unfortunately due-to the TS limitations, the turret can not receive a new image upon upgrade, only an animation can be added to the base.
At the moment, all upgrades simply show a flashing arrow icon next to the structures, I am tempted to keep it as it is simple and sweet, but something a bit more effective may be added in due-time.

The Vulcan and Gatling tower however already have their upgraded turret images implemented, see the new Gatling Tower image for example.
